REIGN OF TERROR - INVERTED BELIEFS OF THE SONQUINE GOD

After pulling this one out of the mail, my first impression was not a good one. Honestly I thought it was going to painful. To my surprise they are a great band! Very well done Black/Death metal with a heavy dose of old school appeal. RESURRECTURIS - SELF TITLED

This has some very good musicianship to them but the vocals do nothing for me. The fall somewhere between DEATH and AMORPHIS. RHAPSODY - DAWN OF VICTORY

So there is a sticker on the front of the disc proclaiming the band to be 'epic fantasy Metal'. So what does that mean? Think of a modern Manowar playing the soundtrack to a Dungeons & Dragons adventure. Basically it rocks. Wailing metal vocals, ultra-catchy riffs and terrific solos all make up this extremely atmospheric disc. If you are looking for something different, this is a fun one to check out. Not something you'd want to listen to every day, but its a nice change to pop it in once in awhile. (LMP / SPV - Germany) -MB

ROTTING CHRIST - KHRONOS 666

Before this album was released, I kept hearing comparisons to the might TRIARCHY album, its not quite there, but it comes close. Older fans of theirs will like certain tracks. Newer fans of theirs will like some others. A very solid release. A decent job of blending  the old and new.(CENTURY MEDIA) -AC
