Prayers to Norse Gods and Goddesses
These are only chants/prayers for the more popular gods of the norse. This information is borrowed from a wonderful book by D.J Conway called Norse Magic.

Prayers to Freya:
(As Seer and Lady)
Great Goddess, Mistress of cats,
Lady of Love, beautiful Vana-Goddess,
Fulfill my greatest needs, O glorious one.
Teach me the magic I need.
Give me a glimpse of your deep wisdom.
Teach mein dreams. Enrich my life.
O Lady, you are the golden tears of Asgard.
Lady of Love, Beautiful Vana-Goddess,
You are the shapeshifter, The Sayer, The independant One. Give me the strength in magic I need.

(As Valkyrie Leader)
Queen of the warrior women,
Freyja  of the black Swordhand,
Mistress of magic, enchantments deep,
You who beckon to fallen heros,
Harken to this, your child.
I would weave strong magic for protection,
Deep magic to bind and chasten.
I lift up my sword to repell all attackers.
Beware foul troublemakers!
For Freyja whispers her spells in my ear.
Freyja, Queesn of the Valkries, stands at my side.

Prayers to Frey, Fro, or Freyer:
The Lord, the Lover,
Vanir god of the sun and wealth,
Hear me great Freyer.
Fill my life with good things,
Sun and rain to bless the Earth.
Happiness, peace, and love to satisfy the body.
Abundance, bravery, and honor
To feed the Soul.
Green groves to worship in,
and other believers in the Old Gods
To fill those groves with joy again.

Prayer to Frigg, Frigga, or Frija
Asa-Mother, Queen of Asgard,
Loving wife and mother, yet holder of infinite wisdom.
Show me the way to reconcile opposites in my life:
Independence and commitment,
Giving and receiving,
Destiny and changing magic,
Teach me the cleverness to be all needed things,
Yet to remain myself, apart and free.
Aesir Mother, Bless me.
