Project A.kon13 (May 31 - June 3, 2002)
05.31.02 ~ We walked around a bit, exploring the hotel until opening ceremony at 8pm. This was our first time able to see the opening ceremony and something incredible happened! Chairman, Meri Hazlewood, spoke to all of us and introduced the guests we had for the weekend. It was towards the end when her boyfriend came up on the stage and talked about how much he adores her. Before we know it, he was on his knees and proposed to Meri in front of everyone! We all cheered for them and it was the kawaiiest and sweetest thing ever! ::sighs:: Very touching, I'd say. Opening ceremony ended at 9pm and the Japanese band Duel Jewel was to perform at this time. I didn't know much about the band since this is their first time visit to the U.S. but when they got on stage to perform, everyone cheered. Their lead singer Hayato was a kewtie *.* ::double sighs:: I love their music actually, very different from what I was brought up with. I felt so bad for leaving the concert after half of their 2nd song ~_~ The place was getting way too crowded and I felt a bit clostrophobic so I left as Michelle followed me. She really wanted to stay and I want to apologize for that! The rest of the night was calm you could say. Had dinner/desert at Papaya and headed to the kareoke for a bit. I wanted to sing but was too shy, again. I'm so self conscious! We ran into Dayna and her Star Lights again around 12:45am and 'stalked' them, lol. It wasn't much stalking since they knew about it and basically we just all chatted. It was fun, but they had to get back to their room by 1am. We turned the corner for the elevators and almost ran into these two guys. I started giggling becaus of that and because I was in a giggling mood as it was. One of the guys turned around and asked if his friend could take a picture with us. I sorta went ::blink blink:: and we agreed. The other guy stood next to Michelle and it was so kawaii because she cupped her hands on his face, lol. The guy who took the pic was actulaly pretty kewt ^_^ I kinda felt bad because I think he wanted to take a picture with us as well but we just walked off in a way....Kai no baka ~_~ Oh well, we headed up to our room shortly afterwards to take a shower and changed into something more comfortable ^_^ and went back downstairs. We didn't go to sleep till 3:30am that night! ^_^;;
