We recommend flying into either San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Oakland International Airport (OAK), or San Jose International Airport (SJC). You can take the Bay Area Rapid Transit system (BART) from either SFO or OAK to most major tourist locales in the Bay Area. Getting around San Francisco is also fairly easy on the public bus system (MUNI). Our wedding will be approximately 1 hour south of both San Francisco and Oakland.

A warning:
If you are not from the Bay Area, you may not be aware that July in California can be rather chilly. I'm not saying you need a down jacket, but tourist shops selling San Francisco sweatshirts make a killing every year on people who think they are going to sunny, warm California. The weather can vary between foggy and in the 50s to sunny and in the 90s, depending where on the Bay Area you are. Remember to pack accordingly, especially because our wedding will be outdoors.
