How we met...

My freshman year of college I met a guy at the Manresa dance. The first time I saw him he was dancing to a techno song and got stuck on his head.
He had fairly long curly blonde hair and was wearing a blue shirt with grey pants.
We didn't talk until I got back to my room and joined my suitemates for an after party. There he was sitting on Clare and Ashley's floor. He was gorgeous. Clare asked me to grab some pillows and have a seat. I grabbed my purple furry pillow. It was big and had arm rest and was cool looking if I do say so myself. The curly haired guy saw it and thought it was really neat. We talked until Ashley wanted to sleep. Clare, Kevin and the curly haired guy wanted to stay up and talk. I was about to call it a night too when the curly haired guy stole my purple furry pillow. I ended up chasing him down the hall and up the stairs into the sixth floor study lounge. We stayed up talking until five in the morning.

How we started dating...

For the next week he popped his head in my door to say hello. We'd talk and then go back to whatever we were doing. Then he didn't stop by. I found myself missing him. I rememebered he said he lived on the first floor. So I went down to look. The first door on the left had his name on it but I couldn't believe my luck was that good so I checked all the others for a Peter as well. Then, not finding any, knocked on the first. He was sitting at his computer and seemed pleased to see me. We sat opposite each other chit chatting. That was when he leaned over and kissed me.
Forthe next five or six days we visited each other and finally on September 11, 2001 at 12:05am (before everything happened) he asked me to be his girlfriend. We've been dating ever since. I couldn't be happier about that.

Fun Story...

For my birthday Peter and I went with a group from XU to the Aronoff Center and watch Phantom of the Opera. It was a well done show and I really enjoyed sharing it with him. I think he looks quite handsome in that black collared shirt and his hair slicked back.
Later on that week we actually played kick ball with the cast and crew of Phantom. He told one of the cast members he didn't have his program but could she sign a credit card receipt. This amused her and we all had a good laugh over it.

Where was his mind...

Ok, in 2002 Peter and Drew moved into the UA. I went over to visit and my nose was greeted by a foul stench from the kitchen. Apparently, Peter had made Ramen Noodles... without water. I think his kitchen smelled of burned noodles for a month.

Summer Time Fun...

I traveled with Matt, Julie, and Melissa to Detroit for the first time the summer of 2002. They were on their way to see Eva and I carpooled up in order to see Peter. We stayed at the cabin on Fish Lake. A precise if not unimaginable name. The lake is shaped like a fish. There's a camp at one end that belongs to the YMCA and most of the other cottages are owned my the American Russian Association of Detroit. Mr. David made cheese spagetti for us. It was really good especially after the long drive.
Peter took me to one of his private lessons at work. The kid he was teaching to swim was too sweet. You could tell he admired Peter. He actually listened carefully to what Peter said. I met several of his coworkers including Melissa. She and I chatted while Peter was giving his lesson. We left and headed back up to the cottage.
We went out in the canoe, and on the pantoon boat once Mike and Jackie joined us. Peter and I took a walk along the banks just to spend some quality time together and it was an overall pleasant weekend.
