| To commemorate our
third visit to Las Vegas together -- the first being our wedding
and the second time for the big Millennial celebration -- we
have put some of our pictures together on these pages. The trip
itself took place Memorial Day Weekend 2001, spanning from Thursday
to Sunday, 24-27 May. This trip was shorter than the other two,
but we saw and did some new things. |
Departure, Thursday
Morning, 24 May 2001

Our flight was scheduled to leave at 8:15
AM eastern time. We drove ourselves to the Park 'n' Ride place,
and their bus dropped us at the Omni Air desk in the International
Terminal of the Detroit Metro Airport. The flight was crowded
but uneventful.
We arrived in Las Vegas at 9:30
or so pacific time. There was quite a crowded ordeal retrieving
the luggage, as four MLT-Worry Free Vacation charter flights
were arriving at the same instant and expected to use the same
baggage carousel.

| On the bright side,
we did get our car of choice, a schnazzy Pontiac Grand Am from
National Car Rental -- the same car we had for our Intermillennial
Adventure. With that, we were on our way, in search of adventure
and food (PregNancy needs to eat frequently). |
