This is the homepage for a story I am currently writing, called The Skye Chronicles
Adam is a young teenager who wields a big sword he found in the mountains near his hometown called Tral. He takes every chance he gets to have an adventure, and he is always getting his friend Ben into trouble. His sword trainer, Mr. James, has developed a great friendship with him. One day, he signs up for a tournament, and then, they gradually get caught up in an adventure of a lifetime. This world of theirs holds many creatures, Elves, High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elve s, Moon Elves, Great Elves, Humans of course, Dwarves, Fairies (pictured below), Water Fairies, Goblins, Orcs, Necrez, Thares, and lots of other things. Right now, I'll post most of the history of the world (un-named lol).
In the beginning, seven great warriors found this planet and claimed it their
own. Three of them later plotted to kill the other four, but in the
process, two of them died. All three were marked traitors for life.
They discovered the last survivor was creating creatures to do his bidding, and
eventually, destroy the four. The strongest one of the four was called the
King. The survivor, named Kraz, began to make Goblins: creatures who had
green, slimy skin, and were weak. He later made stronger Goblins he called
Graves, and his creatures called Dragons, winged creatures who he made of all of
the elements (water, fire, thunder, earth, and ice). From these he bred
Drakes, and Necrez, two stronger types of dragons. He also made
Brames, giant rats that Goblins ride, and Rains, bigger brames that eat living
flesh, so they don't entirely kill their prey. He also made Demons with
swords of all of the elements, and Ogres, large, fat creatures who use clubs,
and aren't smart enough to do much. Later, he made Trolls from Ogres, but
the Trolls escaped, and ran throughout the land, but at this time they didn't
have anything to destroy, and they often used their natural surroundings to
destroy trees, and wildlife. Meanwhile, the King was creating creatures
too, Elves, who were immune to diseases so they often lived for more than 900
years. Light Elves, Elves who are good at magic, and Dark elves, who are
good at fighting and evil magic. Humans, who are all-around creatures, and
Half-Elves, mixes of Humans and Elves making them all-around, but especially
good at magic. He also made Wood Elves, who had telepathic connections
with the world, Moon Elves, who were good with magic and said to be as beautiful
as the moon itself, and Lunar Elves, Elves without magic, but great with swords.
High Elves, the King's nobles basically, to take over if the King should die,
Half-Men, small humans, who were basically farmers to feed the troops, Dwarves,
small creatures with axes, and Kain Dwarves, taller dwarves with bigger axes.
Then, some of the troops wanted to learn how to do what the King could do, so
one of the other three took some of them aside, and taught them magic, some, who
used spellbooks, were called Sorcerers, but those without spellbooks, who had
less powerful magic were called Mages. So the warriors were given ranks of
Mages, Sorcerers, Knights (armed fighters), Paladins (armed fighters who have
white magic), Dark Knights (Paladins who can use dark magic instead), and
Barbarians (Wild fighters who have no order). Meanwhile, Kraz had a brilliant
idea, he'd give the ogres creatures to ride around on, that eat humanoid flesh
(the humanoids were what Kraz called the King's soldiers), he called these
beasts Thests, which looked like black tigers. He also made a wall around
an area where he was making these creatures, and surrounded it with the
creatures he had made, so he could work in peace if the King attacked. He
named this land Zort, or "Evil Land" in the language of the King. He had
so many troops now, he didn't need some, so he hid them in a cave of a mountain
in Zort. He named this mountain Ptane or "Hiding Place" in the language of
the King. Then Kraz used an orb made of onyx to see the King's soldiers.
He saw mainly Humans and Dark Elves, so he decided to try and take these
soldiers over. He stole some Humans to try and get them to tell how to get
into the King's base, but they refused, so he mixed all of the humans he had
with dragons, who he called Drakins, but he let the Drakins go, because they
couldn't control themselves, nor could he control them. Then he stole
thirty-six Dark Elves, he called twenty-one of then Dristes, and gave them black
armor, and made them ride the Necrez, and these Dark Elves, who had weak minds,
were glad to have such great power, but Kraz told them only to attack who he
commanded, then he made the other fifteen Thares, who were like
Dristes, but Kraz allowed them to kill whoever stood in their way, and made them
ride Drakes. These were also happy to have such power, so they gladly
listened to him. He decided that he liked how the Dark Elves acted, so he
went to take the rest. The Dark Elves told him to meet them in the
mountains later that day, and as he flew back to Zort, the King saw him, and
became suspicious of the Dark Elves. The Dark Elves met him and his
Dristes and Thares later that night, who he had brought for protection in case
of an ambush. They said they heard about the other Dark Elves, and wanted
to be spies for him. He slowly accepted, and they told him about their
evil magic, and he told them to make him a diamond. They made the diamond
over a course of a year, and when they met with him again, they told him that
the King was planning his attack in one week. Kraz showed them the money
he had brought, but it was only half of what they were promised, so they
refused. He sent his Dristes and Thares after them, but they escaped back
into the King's fortress. They told him what they had been doing, and
showed him what they called the Necros Diamond. He banished them to a
wasteland, but told one of his Elves to call on them if they ever needed help.
So the Dark Elves wandered, but soon the war had started. Each side had a
large amount of casualties, but eventually, the King and Kraz got in a battle to
the death, and the King killed him. The King brought 300 years of peace,
but then evil stirred again, not all of Kraz's creatures were defeated, they
were regrouping. They began to attack cities, and overwhelmed the
humanoids. By now, more powerful evil beings had risen like the widely
feared Tigris. All of these creatures did not kill any humanoids, but sent
them a message to prepare for war. Kraz was sent back to the world by one
of the King's former allies, to All of the humanoids gathered at a
fortress, and made their last stand. During one of the battles, archers
were shooting from both sides, because no one wanted to face the other directly,
but the King got hit by an arrow. He was badly injured, so he stayed in a
closed room to protect himself, and only four people had keys to get in.
The other three original warriors who had come to this planet to begin with all
died in another battle, and all three of them had keys. So Kraz gained
control of three keys, if only he could get inside the fortress, so he decided
his army would draw out the King's army. His idea worked, and the largest
battle ever to occur in history was fought, three days without rest... except
for those who died. Finally, the fourth one to hold a key died, a weak
servant, and Kraz had all four keys. He was the only one who could get in.
The Elf that the King told to call the Dark Elves if they ever got in trouble,
decided to send a messenger to them. The messenger came back, and said
that he delivered the message, but didn't know if they would come, because he
knew a back entrance in case all of the people with keys died. Later, Kraz
snuck into the fortress, and then into the room where the King was held.
He slowly walked up to where the King was lying, and told him, "I've been
waiting for this for a long time," and then lifted his sword to attack.
Suddenly, one of the Dark Elves leapt into the room, and slashed Kraz across the
back. Kraz was almost dead, and then the King stood up. He took the
sword he had by his bed, and stabbed Kraz. The King's army won the war.
Later, the Dark Elves begged for forgiveness, because after being banished, they
remained loyal. The King forgave them, but then was killed by an assassin
who ran away, and escaped. 200 years later, a new war had started for an
item that belonged to the King, but no one knew what it was. It was called
the Nexum, but no one knew where it was or how it was used. In one of the
battles on the mountain of what is now Tral, a scout was sent up the mountain to
spy on troops, but he was ambushed. He cast a spell toward the bottom of
the mountain to stop his army from coming up. They thought he was trying
to kill them, but then they saw all of the monsters he was fighting. He
killed thousands of warriors, and was marked as The Champion, because no one
knew his real name. The "good" troops won again, and the world was at
peace for a while longer. Later, a teenager climbing Mt. Tral found this
sword, and three years later, a new adventure begins...
