The Dark Council
Chapter Ten
That night was Cloud's funeral. Tifa, Vincent, Cid, Red, Barret, and Reeve where all there. Tifa looked at Cloud one last time as the lid to his coffin was closed. Then placed into the earth. Her eyes were red and puffy. "You really loved him didn't you?" Vincent calmly asked Tifa. She burst out into tears and ran into Vincent's chest. "It's ok, he's in a better place now. He's with Aeris, and they're probably watching over us right now." Vincent told Tifa as she was sobbing into his chest. he didn't mind though. He knew what it was like to lose someone dear to you. "I shoulda been there. I really could've helped you guys, maybe even prevented this." Barret said. "What's done is done." Vincent said calmly. he stepped forward to and said a few words. "Here lays a friend, a hero, a man. Someone who we all learned something from. Cloud. We fought together, cried togther, laughed together. But most importantly, we helped each other. We had been through alot, and now we are here. Grieving over his death. We will all miss Cloud, but he's in a better place now. Rest in peace old friend." Vincent finished. Tifa stepped forward. "I'll never forget you Cloud. I love you." With that said she threw her flowers onto Cloud's coffin. once the ceremony was over, everyone departed with brief hugs and promises to keep in touch. Everyone left. execpt Tifa. She kneeled at Cloud's grave and said. "Cloud, I promise you, you will never be forgotten. I will not allow Sephiroth to go unpunished. I promise." Cloud's gravestone simply read- To heaven, Cloud will go. |

A week later was the marriage of Sephiroth and Rose. It was held at the Ancient Forest. Everyone needed was there. Mark was the best man, and one of Rose's best friends was the maid of honor. Sephiroth stood at the alter in his black suit. His hair was pulled back by a black ribbon into a long ponytail. He was smiling at Rose who was walking down the aisle. Her light grey dress flowed behind her. (Sephy hated the idea of a white dress) She carried red roses in her hands. She reached Sephiroth and they turned to the preist. "Does anyone here have any reason of why these two people shouldn't be married, speek now." No one spook. "Do you, Sephiroth, take Rose to be your wedded wife, and to love her through good times and bad?" the priest asked Sephy. "I do." he replied. "Do you, Rose, take Sephiroth to be your husband, and to love him through good times and bad?" "I do." Rose answered. "Then you may kiss the bride." Sephiroth turned to Rose and lifted her veil, and they kissed. Sephiroth then picked up Rose and carried her to a chocobo drawn buggy. |

A castle was bulit for Sephiroth and Rose, in the mountain range of Mnt. Nibel. It was a tall dark castle with many towers and many rooms.The library contained all the original info from the Shinra mansion that way, the info was in a safe place. There was a huge ball room with a large crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and many guestrooms as well. Most of the rooms had large balconies. The exterior of the castle was decorated with demon statures. But, what Rose enjoyed the most about this castle was the garden. It was beautiful! There were rose bushes everywhere of all different colors, clear pools of water with exotic fish and lily pads, tall dark marble statues of winged demons, fountains with crystals formations. All in all, it was a peaceful but dark place. The only thing that bothered Rose were the goblins and demons. They would sometimes be seen running around the castle. They scared her. But, Sephy wouldn't let them near her. One of the demons tryed once, only to get it's head chopped of by Masamune, Sepiroth's sword. But, she was happy here. She missed the sky sometimes..but love was all that mattered. |

Andra had been training with Sephiroth for about a week now. His training was tough! His body had totally changed! His arms were more mucsely from all the training. He had seen the wedding, it was nice, and he saw Sephiroth in a suit! Although he had to admit, Sephiroth did look good in a suit. Andra was staying in one of the guestrooms of the castle, all he could say was wow. That was some big castle! It was knida creepy and dark sometimes. But, Rose seemed happy. Anyway, the training was hard. Sephiroth's power was amazing! he wished that he would be that strong some day. |

"See to it that the garden is watered often, that is Rose's favorite place you know." Sephiroth told his demons. "But, do not enter the garden if she is in it." "Yes master." The demons answered. Sephiroth then gestured the demons leave. He sat in the study thinking about the events over the past couple of days. He was married now, and he had a student. "I'm turing out to be more human than I thought!" He laughed and grabbed his cloak. He was going out today. |

Tifa wandered through Nibelhiem looking lost. She glanced up at the castle every now and then. But when ever she did that, she saw the sky. O how depressing, a red sky. She was lonely. "Hey, you look lonely." a voice said to her. She spun around and came face-to-face with...Vincent! "Hi, yeah I'm pretty lonely now. Everything seems so...depressing." Tifa told Vincent. "I see, well there will be some end to Sephiroth's reign you know that." Vincent said. "I suppose." Tifa replied and looked dreamily at the castle. What she really was bummed about, was Cloud. She missed him. So much. Was it possible to use the Gateway to Nothingness and get him back? "I know what you're thinking, the answer is no." Vincent said. "Well, aren't you helpful!" Tifa said. There must be some way...but there is none. I should've done something.. |

Cloud wandered through his life, looking at memeories and remembering Tifa, and all his friends. "Hello Cloud!" a voice said behind him. He spun around, and saw Aeris! "Aeris! Hi! How are you?" Aeris giggled "O Cloud, you have no idea how much I missed you! Although I'll admit it is a shame to see you HERE where we're dead." Aeris said. Cloud looked up at Aeris, they smiled and headed towards heavens gates together. |
