On the 17th of March 2009 however, Edgar chose to cut off all working relations with them due to his strong desire to run an organization that would be completely free from any kind of Christian influence whatsoever which he viewed as anti-Semitic.
His spiritual journey from a Baptist minister rediscovering his roots in Judaism, led him to much study, dialog and involvement in Judeo-Christian Theology, the Messianic movement and finally to his decision to renounce his faith in Christianity, Jesus and to adhere to Rabbinic authority and interpretation of the Bible.
Opposition
It was the tremendous opposition that he faced mainly from certain Church leaders and and the negative influence that the media had on the Christian Community in the country pertaining to the State of Israel that inspired him to establish an Institution that would counter Christian doctrines especially in the South East Asian Christian circle which he believed was not biblical but anti-Semitic.
This opposition also exposed to him to the attitude of most Christian ministers in the region who do not engage in dialog, do not understand basic human right issues such as the freedom of conscience and speech and are not able to defend their Theological beliefs based on sound reasoning and solid biblical evidence.
He realized that most Christian ministers in the region went to Bible Seminaries whose sole purpose was indoctrination. There was no such thing as academic freedom and almost all of these seminaries did not have the study of Philosophy as part of their syllabus.
