Both of these smiling men are staying onboard of the RV Bilim (near Istanbul, Turkey) during the Ukraine-UK-Turkey-USA joint intercalibration cruise, October, 1997.
It turns out that nobody can stop SBU actions in Sevastopol.
On November 6, 1999 Boris Sokolov, a leading engineer involved in studies of bioluminescence of the ocean was called to SBU. He has been questioned during 5 hours in a row and then released.
All SBU questions were targeted to find out more evidences for "the SBU concept" that IBSS scientists leading by Dr. Piontkovski have organized a broad scale criminal transfer of scientific information abroad.
As you remember, the same statement has been published by SBU information center in one of local newspapers.
So in fact, local SBU actions contradicts to what had been stated by Ukraine authorities to EU, NATO, US and UK officials.
We have heard that the statement was that SBU actions in Sevastopol are over.
Nothing of the kind!
