Are You Hurting?
We express Christ’s love by
honoring God through service for humanity.
For what good is it, my friend, if we claim to have faith, but have no
deeds? Can such faith save us? Suppose a stranger is without clothes and
daily food. If we said to him, “Go, we
wish you well, keep warm and well fed,” but we do nothing about his physical
needs, what good is it? In the same way,
faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action is dead. In support of this, was not Abraham
considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son, Isaac, on the
alter? (Genesis 22:9). You see that his
“faith” and his “actions” were working together, and his faith was made
complete by what he did. Abraham
believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness, and he was called
“God’s friend.” Likewise, we are
justified by what we do and not by faith alone.
Considering this, we have
raised approximately $25,000 through donations, sponsorships, and love
offerings. In addition, we have given
$23,000 of our own resources to the Lord for this ministry. Ordained by the Holy Spirit and orchestrated
by God, we have touched the lives of many hurting people; such as, homeless,
handicapped, rejected, addicted, lonely, oppressed, suicidal, unwanted, abused,
sickly, and abandoned persons. We have
opened an independent not-for-profit outreach organization directed towards
“minorities” within the “lower class.”
This ministry is a shelter, a safe haven, an instructional learning
center, a sanctuary, a church, and a place of “hope” for hurting people. Through it, we feed the hungry, clothe the
naked, heal the sick, quench the thirsty, counsel the hurting, provide shelter
for the homeless, and transportation for the immobile.
He is no fool who gives
what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot loose (Jim Elliot).

possible to give away and become richer!
