Give to the Needy

No
one who lives in him (God) keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has
either seen him (God) or known him (God).

one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him;
he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

This
is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we
ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

If
anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on
him, how can the love of God be in him?

Dear
children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
It is our responsibility, as Christians, to help others in need. Examples of needs people have is: (1) shelter (2) food (3) clothing (4) love, etc.

Dear
friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God

and
receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what
pleases him.
23
And
this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to
love one another as he commanded us.
This is my challenge for you: humble yourself before God and other people. When you see someone in need, help them out!
