• You cannot take out more than you put in

 

Relational Ethic of Fairness is Crucial:

1)      Merit- trustworthy actions/ intentions experienced as care and concern by another

2)      Indebtedness- what a person experiences as the recipient of merit

3)      Reciprocity- mutual exchange of care/ concern between persons

4)      Exploitation- imbalance of either giving too much or giving too little

 

·        If you do not play fair in relationships, you do not love the other person.

·        Most unhealthy relationships are more about power than love.
