The Elephant-Tow Race

PRE GAME


(Sentinels): You say, "And would you senties be interested in a game now?"

(Sentinels): You say, "Ok elephant tow race then... those interested 
come to Eleusian gatehouse please."

- Base of the Eleusian Gatehouse. -

The night sky is clear, and the stars twinkle like diamonds.

(Sentinels): You say, "And we'll need some playing death weight to be towed 
around also!"
(Sentinels): Zavy says, "*point tow*."
(Sentinels): Zavy says, "Who else?"
(Sentinels): Zavy says, "Hehe."

Shaking the ground with each step, Avana stomps in from the up.
Shaking the ground with each step, Genwin stomps in from the north.
Shaking the ground with each step, Kalyanna stomps in from the up.
Kalyanna's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

You throw your arms wide and a cry rings out from your lips, a clarion call 
to the ancient spirits of nature to taste the joy of life once more.
You are surrounded by a shining corona of blinding light as your soul is 
transformed by metamorphosis. With a resounding trumpet, the spirit of 
the massive Elephant enters you.

Kedon descends from above.

(Sentinels): You say, "You just need to be here and do nothing."
(Sentinels): Avana says, "I think elephants get to move them about."

Zavy tells you, "I can be one of the deadweights."

(Sentinels): You say, "Ok we need partners for Avana, Zavy, Kalyana, Genwin 
and Tow in this elephant tow rave."

Zavy tells you, "Put me down as deadweight, heh."
You tell Sweet Sugar Sentinel Zavy, "Ok you'll be my dead weight then."
Zavy tells you, "Hehe okay."

You say, "So kedon is that of Avana?"
Kedon Ta'sa, Eye of the Jaguar says, "Alrighty."
Avana nods her head emphatically.

Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins says, "I think the elephants have 
to yank their weights around the course."

You say, "But there will be points to race to yanking your weight."
Femme Forestale Kalyanna Windsong says, "I dont have any weight."

You say, "And the last one to arrive will fall off."

Forestwalker Jampel says, "Meme."
You say, "Jampel to Kalyanna?"
Jampel nods his head emphatically.
Femme Forestale Kalyanna Windsong says, "Ok jampel is mine then."


(Sentinels): Genwin says, "Chiya my dead weight”
Chiya descends from above.
Genwin gives Chiya a compassionate hug.
Chiya raises his hand in greeting and says "Hello!"

You say, "Ok chiya you just do nothing and be pulled around."
Kedon Ta'sa, Eye of the Jaguar says, "All dead weights just stand still and 
don't do nothing."
Kalyanna gives a trillingly melodic laugh.

You say, "Everyone knows who his partner is?"
Kalyanna nods her head emphatically.
Genwin points accusingly at Chiya.
Kalyanna points accusingly at Jampel.
"Ok!" Chiya exclaims.
Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins says, "Maybe they should be 
renamed Estach's..."

Cub Apprentice in Waiting, Chiya says, "What exactly is this game?"
Femme Forestale Kalyanna Windsong says, "Elephant yanking."
Chiya bends over in side-spliting laughter.
Wilderness Apprentice Genwin Sa'Rithven-a'Bertal says, "Elephant Tow Race."
Cub Apprentice in Waiting, Chiya says, "This is gonna be fun."

THE RACE

CHECKPOINT I

You say, "Ok first race to the entry of Forestwatch, where the dryad Kalisha is."
You say, "Ready?"
Avana nods her head emphatically.
You say, "Go."

Comprehension flashes across Kalyanna's face.
The corners of Zavy's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.
Kedon nods his head at Kalyanna.


You lash out with your trunk and yank Zavy into your location.
Shaking the ground with each step, Genwin stomps in from the south.
Genwin lashes out with his trunk and yanks Chiya into your location.
Genwin lashes out with his trunk and yanks Chiya into your location.
Shaking the ground with each step, Avana stomps in from the south.
Femme Forestale Kalyanna Windsong yells, "I dont know the location *cry*."


Genwin lashes out with his trunk and yanks Chiya into your location.
An elephant trunk snakes in, grabs Kedon, and snakes back off to the northwest.

Sweet Sugar Sentinel Zavy says, "Is so gonna be close."

Before a decayed wooden gate (road).
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Hidden 
in the foliage a vague female shape can be made out. Caztrating Avana Windsong, 
Kicker of Shins is here. She wields a kite shield bearing the arms of the 
Windsong clan in her left hand and a hunter's spear in her right. Kedon Ta'sa, 
Eye of the Jaguar is here. He wields a hunter's spear in his left hand and a 
kite shield in his right.
You see exits leading north and southwest.

You lash out with your trunk and yank Zavy into your location.
Kedon swings his arm up and high fives Avana enthusiastically.
Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins says, "I knew bashing so much in FW 
would come in handy at some point."
You say, "Well genwin or Kalyanna will fall of."
Kedon Ta'sa, Eye of the Jaguar says, "I'm a good deadweight."
You see Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins yell, "Come on you slow 
coaches!!"

You give the dryad Kalishah a compassionate hug.

Zavy giggles happily.
Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins says, "First checkpoint..."
(Sentinels): You say, "Avana was first at the checkpoint."
Avana becomes overwhelmed by it all and faints.
You say, "So after this we are with 3, then 2."
 

CHECKPOINT II & III


So Avana was first at the first checkpoint with the Dryad Kalishah. Tow was 
second and Genwin and Kalyanna got lost. After some time Genwin was the third 
to arrive.

Genwin lashes out with his trunk and yanks Chiya into your location.
"Woot!" Zavy shouts excitedly.
"Woot!" Genwin shouts excitedly.

(Sentinels): You say, "And Genwin arrived."
(Sentinels): You say, "Sorry Kalyanna you fall of, better luck next time."

(Sentinels): You say, "Ok elephant tow racers, rea."
Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins says, "Where to now?"
(Sentinels): You say, "Ready for next checkpoint?"
Avana nods her head at you.
(Sentinels): You say, "That will be the spirit of W ithmia?"

Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins says, "We need to find her?"
Wilderness Apprentice Genwin Sa'Rithven-a'Bertal says, "Ack."

You say, "Go."

I’ll leave out the spam now, but sure was fun spam !

(Sentinels): Kedon says, "Ah that's the life, getting yanked around."

You give Clio, spirit of the Western Ithmia a compassionate hug.

 (Sentinels): You say, "Woot Avana for ariving second."
Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins says, "If I'd known where she was..."
Avana crosses her arms on her chest, sticks out her lower lip, and pouts.

(Sentinels): You say, "Genwin falls off."
(Sentinels): You say, "And now the grand finale of the elephant tow race!"
(Sentinels): Avana says, "Ooh!"
(Sentinels): You say, "Avana with Kedon vs Tow with Zavy."
You hear a rustle of leaves and a beautiful dryad appears.
Your mouth turns up as your face breaks into a smile.
(Sentinels): You say, "You hear a rustle of leaves and a beautiful dryad 
appears... nah, can't be genwin."
(Sentinels): Zavy says, "*giggles*."
(Sentinels): You say, "Ok the last checkpoint."

Shaking the ground with each step, Genwin stomps in from the north.
Genwin lashes out with his trunk and yanks Chiya into your location.
"Woot!" Zavy shouts excitedly at Genwin.
The corners of Kedon's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.

You say, "You know where the fishingshop near the lake is?"
Caztrating Avana Windsong, Kicker of Shins says, "Near Lake Vundemere?"
Kedon Ta'sa, Eye of the Jaguar says, "South of there."

You say, "You know it Avana?"
(Sentinels): You say, "Ok last checkpoint fishshop near minia."

You say, "Ready?"
Avana nods her head emphatically.
Zavy bounces up and down.
You say, "Go."
Avana stomps out to the west, shaking the ground with each step.
An elephant trunk snakes in, grabs Kedon, and snakes back off to the west.
You lash out with your trunk and yank Zavy into your location.
Avana stomps out to the southwest, shaking the ground with each step.

We stayed close together, but when I continued through the forest suddenly 
no sign anymore of Avana.

You have recovered equilibrium.

A bit later Avana arrived. So Tow (me) wins the first Elephant Tow Race!!!!
I know it wasn’t really fair as I choose the locutions myself, that’s why I 
asked in the final if Avana knew where it was. Guess I only had a benefit 
in the second race to the spirit. And Avana would have won if she would have 
used the same route, as she was just a bit faster then I in the yanking. 
Guess I got lucky.

Thanks to all for participating and making this a lot of fun. It really gave 
me a kick hearing you say you wanted more Elephant Tow Races.

PS: a little side note… give Rajas there own competition as they recover 
balance much faster and have a good advantage in races like this.
