Oh mighty Neraeos, we thank Thee,
Thou gave us the water; Thou gave us the sea,
Without the sea, horrible things will happen,
Something horrible we do not wish,
Without the sea, the plants will die,
So will us and creatures and the fish.
Without the sea, there will be no water,
Water is one of our most important needs,
The people will die of thirst, in the sun,
No water for the old, the young, our kids.
The sea is mighty; it has its strength,
It can destroy and kill - flood a town,
Water alone can destroy anything,
Demolish buildings or make us drown.
The sea can help in many ways,
It can quench our thirst, put out a fire,
We wash, we drink, we play in the sea,
