Morph Contest

New Morph Contest - Okay, as useful as they are, morphing jaguar, eagle
and squirrel are getting old. So for this competition you need to come
up with a totally new morph! Be as original as possible, snake morph,
moose morph, chocolate and cherry cheesecake morph! To enter just send
your suggestions to Oenone. Inculde the powers this new morph will have,
and any other details you'd like to add. The winner will be announced
during the festival. NOTE: This is for FUN only, so don't expect a new
morph from the Logos to come out of this.

Hi folks,
Ok, no, I have not gone wacko, everything below is what Oenone has
written about the Morph Contest she held for the Festival!

GREETINGS! And here it is, what you've all been waiting for! The WINNERS
to the Morph Contest!
There were 3 categories to win!
1 - Sheer usefulness!
2 - Sheer fun!
3 - Sheer Ick Factor! (A special category I had to make up JUST for one
entry!)
(By the way... If you are interested in seeing all the runners-up and
honorable mentions (and trust me, they're all worth it), you may go
visit my scribe, Mr. Forums. His lives in the city of WWW, at
Darantares.com Street. Press the doorbell that says Forums, and when he
lets you in, go to his General room. He has them posted on his wall.)
Now onto the WINNERS! The Winner for the MOST USEFUL morph is... TOW for
his Octopus Morph!
OCTOPUS MORPH - You throw your arms wide and a cry rings out from your
lips, a clarion call to the ancient spirits of nature to taste the joy
of life once more. You are surrounded by a shining corona of blinding
light as your soul is transformed by metamorphosis. - Your soul gasps as
you feel yourself getting all wet and oily in companion with the oceanic
spirit of the Squid.
Morph Powers:
SUCK - gives you to ability to crawl over any wall or building or suck
ceiling and attack your foes from above.
SPIT - blind your opponents with sticky black ink, spit ground to make
everyone slip.
SQUISH - wrap your arms around someone and squeeze them and hug them and
crush them. Beware as you might leave sucking-marks.
SLIP - slippery when wet, no powers can restrain you, replaces writhe.
OCTOWIELD - gives you the ability to wield up to eight things, spear,
axe, shield...
DIVE - replaces the use of pear.
BITE - bite of limbs of foes and alternative way to decapitate corpses.
Congrats, Tow! Now... the Winner for the MOST FUN category... well, it
was a tie! HYANO (Statue Morph) and NYREN (Weaver Morph)!
AB METAMORPHOSIS STATUE. Powers include:
STONE - Turn your skin to solid stone, rendering most attacks completely
useless! Setbacks include extreme inability to do anything quickly and
really uncomfortable underwear, but you'll be safe!
SQUISH - Fall right on top of your opponent, crushing them under
your extreme weight and making a nice, enemy-shaped hole in the ground.
BIRDCALL - In exchange for being their toilet/bed/hang out, command the
legions of the feathery ones to peck out the eyes of your enemy!
POSE - Strike your most magnificent pose, forcing all around you to
stand in awe of your stony glory.
ROCKEATER - Eat rocks, gain health, get dentures!
and...
AB METAMORPHOSIS WEAVER - On entering: "<> enters from the
direction, moaning about the Market channel." On leaving: "Sighing in
resignation, <> leaves to the direction."
MORPH ABILITIES:
WEAVING - syntax WEAVE <> Weaves the fabric of
reality into comfortable clothes. He -is- a weaver, after all.
FLICK - syntax FLICK <> - Transports your bewildered
target to Inbhir Ness.
BALANCING - syntax BALANCE <> - Removes the transcendant
abilities of that skillset for an hour.
UNWEAVE - syntax UNWEAVE <> - Removes the target from reality,
permanently. Do not mess with the Weaver of your fate.
BAKING - syntax WEAVE COOKIE - Bakes a Divine Sugar Coated Cookie, a
favorite treat of Sentinels everywhere.
MOCK - syntax MOCK <> - Sends
a random embarassing message to the MARKET channel mocking your target
and has a
50% chance of revoking their market priviliges.
Congrats Hyano and Nyren! And Finally... the specially added 'ICK"
category... goes to TEKK for his Tapeworm Morph!
AB METAMORPHOSIS TAPEWORM
Morph Abilities:
BURROW - Burrow into the intestine of your opponent and cause a
long-term deprivation of food while you grow fat.
BREED - Create many, many eggs via an asexual process and leave
thousands in the intestines of your opponite causing them harm for
later.
Guys I had SO much fun with these! Congrats to everyone, and I applaud
your genius! Be sure to check out the runners-up at Mr. Forums' place,
you won't be disappointed!
