Ok. I held a guild riddle earlier this month, and I had quite the time and the turnout. However, due to a few mistakes of my own, and people getting booted, and what not, only 2 of the contestants actually finished... Congrats to Arietta and Xel. Here are the clues, and I'll give their answers afterwards. If you need an explanation, feel free to message me.
First Clue:
The City within the mountain's heart
Resides this Diva who's singing a part
Sitting nearby, a piano, he plays
Creating melodies, 'til the end of days
Name this pair, with the lady first
Where Eleusian teas quench your thirst
Raphella and Lucciano at Sugar n' Spice in Eleusis
Second Clue:
Under water, where the mermaids sing
A mighty kraken guards their mighty king
Before a spirit with an own on her breast
Name Nissandar's wife to pass this test
Answer - Takliea before Melpomene, spirit of the Black Forest
Third Clue:
If you've ever lost an important key
Talk to this man and change the lock
In the town of Thera resides a man hungry
For your return with a big... chicken
Name this locksmith and the second man's job
Before a cauldron where Eleusis sobs
Answer - Ok. Slight problem with this one as a) there are a lot of locksmiths, and I was looking for the one in Shallam, and b) technically, to change a lock, you have to talk to a Divine... But people still got it right. And a thank you to Arietta for reminding me there was more than one locksmith.. The answer is Barkash and woodcutter, at the Tears of Eleusis
Fourth Clue:
Deep under ground does he rest
Eating stirge eggs he does best
Another powerful chief to the east
Humble servants tend to this orc beast
Unidentifiable voices do you hear
State their names while standing there
Answer - Skt'all and Gorblatt while standing in the Membrane
Final Clue:
An evil lady of the Black arts
Stand surrounded by body parts
A hidden beauty before a wooden gate
Will pay for ending the buckawns' fate
Before the earthy love of the Golden Hair
Declare the names of this mismatched pair
Answer - Vinia and Kalisash at Central Hall... Oh wait.. Looks like Taurelindo just messaged me while I was composing this... Maybe we have a third place winner!!
