As the title says, this is a post on a competition so get thinking for the answers. This is going to be fairly large scale compared to quizzes and will need you guys to think a little. There are two parts to this competition and the details are stated in the parts. All answers to both parts please write in 1 letter (combine both) and mail to me with your name. Hope you guys enjoy this competition. Also, there will be prizes to the top 3 winners but I’ll keep the details on prizes a secret for the moment.

1) Code deciphering:
This is the first part and is fairly easy, its whether you get it or not. Now, you have to decipher the following two codes and tell me who are the two people I am referring to. Clue: 26 letters split into half, first at the last, the last at the start.
Clue2: gur = the
Ur unf freirq nf gur Urneg bs gur Sbersg sbe bar-uhaqerq lrnef.
Ur sbhaqrq gur Fragvaryf
They may seem illogical but codes are like that, get thinking, refer closely to the clue (especially clue 1)
The first to send me the correct answer gets 3 points each(for each question which is 6 altogether) and each subsequent correct answers get 1 point each (for each question which is 2 altogether)

2) Quiz
This is the second part of the competition. There are a few rules here. If you answer a question correctly, you get 2 points. If you choose not to answer the question, you get 0. If you answer the question wrongly, you get -1 point. Please take careful noting to the number of the questions.
1) The helmet of an unarmed warrior. (a venom)
2) The sum of the years in which Haidion founded Tomacula and Aalen Forest (both years add together, just 1 number)
3) Who is the head of Lord Prospero’s Order?
4) Who was the very first person to reach level 80?
5) Which guildmaster of the Paladins chose Lord Sartan as their patron?
6) Who found the Hammer of Phaestus and was visited by strange visions involving unicorns and great stones?
7) In Year 292AF, which orders banded together to combat the depredations of the Order of Sartan upon their shrines?
8) Who came from 600 years in the past as a court jester and in the end taught the art of jestering?
9) In Year 300AF, who won the joke contest and who got the staff of Nicator?
10) In which year of the red fog brought into the Sapience?
11) Name me the skill in Concoctions that had a use last time but is of no use now.
There are a few exceptions here. For Q7 is worth +4 points for correct answer and -2 points for wrong answer.
So quick send me your answers in a letter and have fun with this competition. You have 1 year to send in your answers.

Now, in between, I sent a bonus letter to all participants with a riddle, the following is the riddle.

The last is the start, to solve it is hard. The angel of this is a boy with an arrow. The world is fair by thy and justice is meted. The middle is the beginning, your head is spinning. My father my father, right to the letter. The last is the last, nothing but the last. The priests have the power, you see such heavenly images.
Kaalena got it right but couldn't quite explain all. Only Vandrix could answer it well and correctly. The last is the start, I want the last letter. The angel is cupid and is angel of love. So take E. The world is fair... it is Lady Mirarmar so take R. Next I want the middle letter. My father is Vertigo. The middle letter is t but I said right to it so it is I. Lastly the last letter of the skill priest have (bliss) is S. So if you put it together it is ERIS.
Vandrix sent me the answers all correctly and first. With this he already score first. The bonus letter was to differentiate between 2nd and third. However for fair sake I sent him one and he managed to solve it.
Kaalena came in second with the answers all correct and the bonus question correct although Kaalena can't really explain it. (Kaalena said ERIS)
Arietta sent in the correct answers but did not reply to the bonus letter. Arietta came in third.
The prizes were:
1st - Vandrix : GF by Xel, 3000 gold
2nd - Kaalena : 2000 gold
3rd - Arietta : 1000 gold
They have their prize mailed to them. Look forward to conducting further competitions and more participation.
