Objective: students will be able to create a switchboard.

  1. Start>programs>Access>open an existing database>OK>file name: dbSurvey.mdb>open
  2. Tools>Add Ins>Switchboard Manager
  3. Edit>New>Text: Enter Customer Data>Command: Open form in add mode>Form: frmCustomers>OK
  4. New>Text: Enter Restaurant Data>Command: Open form in add mode>Form: frmRestaurants>OK
  5. New>Text: View Reports>Command: Open report>Report: rptSurvey>OK
  6. New>Text: Switchboard Administration>Command: Design Application>OK
  7. New>Text: Return to Main Switchboard>Command: Go to Switchboard>Switchboard: Main Switchboard>OK
  8. New>Text: Exit Database>Command: Exit Application>OK
  9. Close>Close
