Mission Winners

A enemy army nearly found us yesterday. Luckily we managed to move before they came into the camp. However, there is a traitor among us, and you need to find him.

Yasmine

The Sentinels have been keeping an eye on a certain vixen healer that seems a bit shifty nowadays. The Officers and Leaders want somebeast with keen eyes to keep an eye on her for a while and to watch her movements. Yasmine narrowed her eyes thoughtfully at the Mission and nodded her head.

The vixens name was Bian and she has been a Sentinel for over six seasons. She had proved herself as one of the best junior member and mage healers of the Sentinels. The Officers and Leaders dont want to lose her, but precautions must be made. Silently, Yasmine walked off in search of Bian. Perhaps one way of getting to her is to be friendly towards her. According to what she heard, beasts werent all that kind to her since the suspicions and who knows, maybe she isnt the traitor.

Yasmine crossed over into the clearing and sat on a log just in front of a vixen mixing together two types of plants and adding some sort of spice to it. The mousemaid shuddered. She never liked any kind of foxes or vixens because of past events, but maybe this mission could turn things around. Curiously, Yasmine looked around the fire. Whats that? The vixen raised her head and stared at the mousemaid.

Medicine, she said, then looked at what she was doing again.

Well obviously youre making medicine, but are you mixing? Yasmine stood and walked over to Bian, observing her movements. It was easy to see she had great skill. Bian stopped her work. She raised her amber eyes to meet Yasmines sapphire ones.

Youre on that mission, arent you? They say me on that tree but I know that whoever accepted it went to find out if there was a certain somebody to be watched. Yasmine was surprised but did not lower her gaze. Dont worry. Others have tried before you but they found nothing wrong so they just gave up. You are the first one to actually speak to me. The mousemaid sat and shrugged.

Guess I thought that you needed somebeast to talk to. Looking at Bians bowl of herbs, she said, But you still didnt answer my question. The vixen had a faint smile forming across her face, but it disappeared as soon as it came.

Its a formula I made up. It seems to help heal wounds and I believe that it will work best if it is warm. Its called Blood Sealer, she stated importantly.

Thats a cool name, and appropriate for the use. Ive used that medicine many times for my wounds, didnt know you made it. They say it is one of the best, and I believe them now!

Why? Knowing that I made it beasts might not use it anymore!

Nah, it is too good just to throw it away because they think you are a traitor. Bian nodded.

Thats the thing, Im not a traitor. I only know who is. Silence followed after the vixens words. Bian was done making her medicine but she was furiously smashing and mixing the herbs. Yasmine put a paw on her companions shoulder.

I think that wont be useful if you keep doing that. Bian stopped her work and put her bowl aside. Why dont tell me who the traitor is? The vixen stared at the mousemaid.

Will you tell anybody?

Yasmine smiled crookedly. Only Lilac. She has the right to know. You can come with me if you like and tell me on the way. The vixen smiled back and nodded her head.

The two beasts walked in silence in search of Lilac for a while. Bian messed with her garments nervously. The traitor isnt exactly a member of the Sentinels but he comes here a lot to visit Lilac. He is one of her friends, The vixen lowered her head. That is why I am so afraid about telling her. Yasmine rubbed the back of her neck, her sign of nervousness.

Well, it is more urgent to tell her know more than ever! Lilac is the head of the Leaders and if the traitor is one who is close to her he is probably getting information that is very important.

Bian looked scared. But Lilac wouldnt give information away freely, would she? Yasmine shook her head.

I dont believe so, but I have no doubt that when she leaves him in her office or home alone even for just a second he goes searching for evidence. She paused, her eyes glittering. Who is this guy anyway?

Bian gulped and shuddered. Everyone sees him every time he comes and they like him, so they would suspect him. I would rather not say how I found out, but his name is AminAmin...

Yasmine growled. Amin Jerro. Loved by all, traitor to all. Figurescome on, Bian; we have to get this news Lilac Blacktip.
