Slate also enters, twirling his staff slowly. He nods curtly in response to her bow. He sweeps his staff up, catching the bolas to prevent them tangling his legs, but thier heavy ends whip around to hit him.

He drops his staff, and draws his dirk, rushing in close to avoid the long reach of her scythe.

Slate stands strong, and takes the kick in his shins. He moves closer, so Niko has less leverage. He drives his dirk toward her stomach, but he also has restricted movement.

Move #3
Nikolai Wolfsong

Niko quickly grabs her scythe. She uses the handle as a pole to block the dirk's blade.

Move #3

Move #4
Graffiti Slate

Slate took a moment to breath as Niko lay on the ground. She jumped up, and he noticed that she was ready to use the scythe. If she used it, he would hae to stay back, and he had no range.

He feinted like he was darting in like he had originally, but instead he rolled past her and jumped up, to try and get her in a headlock, his knife in his hand.

Move #5
Nikolai Wolfsong

Niko goes foreward only find he isn't there, she spins around, using the blunt end of her scythe to knock the knife away.

Graffiti Slate

Slate cursed again as his knife skidded out of reach.

Slate leaped at Niko, prepared to make this a wrestling match.

Graffiti Slate

Slate lands on his feet, attempting to lift Niko up by hers.

Nikolai Wolfsong

Niko is lifted off the ground, seizing the moment, she grabs her bolas from a nearby patch of grass and whirls it. It wraps around Graffiti's legs, bringing him down. Unfortuanately, she hits the ground hard along with him.

Move #7
Graffiti Slate

Slate let go of her, struggling to cut through the bolas ropes with his dirk. He succeeds, and rolls to his feet.

Move #8
Nikolai Wolfsong

Niko leaps up, scythe at ready. She drops the broken bolas almost carelessly.

Move #8
Graffiti Slate

Slate circled Niko warily, slowly regaining lost energy. He shot out a few faints to keep Niko on her toes, ready to block or avoid any attacks coming his way.

Move #9
Nikolai Wolfsong

Niko thrusts herself forward, shooting past him and swinging the flat of the blade, hitting his feet from under him. She then darts a few feet away, panting slightly from the fight.

Move #9
Graffiti Slate

Slate dropped into a impromptu roll as his knees buckled. He staggered up and launched mimself at Nikolai, slashing with his sword at her stomach.

Graffiti Slate

Slate stands, accepting the hand and sheathing his sword.

"Did anyone see where my dirk went?"

Nikolai was more realistic in teh battle, and her attacks made more sense, although Slate did good in teh begining, I think Niko deserves to be the winner.

It was a good battle.

That was a tough one to pick, but I reckon Slate had the chance to down Nikolai when he knocked him flat near the beginning. Also, Nikolai pulled a couple autos and Graffiti went along with it well without pulling any of his own and I admire that. Don't get me wrong, there's always a place for autos but I don't think Nikolai quite had the leverage at the time.
