SENSOTRONIC TEMPERATURE MONITORING UNIT JAP20798

Their State of the Art Electronics  Characteristics warranty a reliable shooting at the temperature setting previously.

With Sensotronic JAP20798 it let Sentinel 3001

interface Trough it, to program the exact and precise point of shooting temperature, Beating in all the performance of any mechanical sensor that your Engine could come with, including the original Mercedes Benz sensor. So all the above can be resumed on reliability on its operation with zero supervision and zero mistake margin, and can be set on any Brand of Diesel Engine.

Our development can be Checked aginst next performance graphics

For Compare the Graphics shown above, you should know that the tests were done using engine oil instead of coolant for avoid evaporation and assure to measure temperatures over 100ºC without no problem.

You´ll see that the M.B. Mechanical sensor  on which the Temperature printed in Case was 100ºC really Shoot one Temperature buzzer warning alarm at 120ºC instead of the 100ºC that the manufacturer said to shoot the alarm referred before

It acts this way because at 120ºC this sensor measure the case temperature of 100ºC but the coolant Fluid has a real temperature of 120ºC (registered the same temperature for both the physical glycerin thermometer and a clinical thermometer ) so as you can imagine it is boiling/evaporating  point and there is a great risk of mayor damage on the engine because overheating.

Add to this  the increase of the Crust as a film on the case of the sensor due to lackness on the use of Coolant (Mexico and Central America specific situation) because is their matter of  think that as the average of the weather is tropical kind ¿why they need to use a Coolant?, so they only add Water to their radiators fleets and as this kind of water is plenty on salts amount it help to the crust generation ,which once added to case acts as a thermal insulation,  so we mean that one film of .001 inches of crust added on the case reacts as a thermal insulation of1/4 inches which of course , cause the problem that the  coolant fluid or worst situation using pure water as Mexico and Central America specific situation the overall fluid temperature could be at lets say 99ºC and the sensor/electric thermometer mounted in control panel shows a reading of 85ºC so the alarm never will be activated because due to the thermal insulation product of the crust film the sensor itself interpretate that the functional temperature is O.K.  when on real is almost Evaporating the fluid  causing of course major damages for overheating engine.

In other hand you can see on graphics on tests 2 and 3 that SENSOTRONIC react exactly and with precision  as the temperature of the physical glycerin thermometer and a clinical thermometer  reflects of 95ºC on test 2 and 100ºC on test 3  that's why we meant that all the above can be resumed on reliability on its operation with zero supervision and zero mistake margin, and can be set on any Brand of Diesel Engine.

Remember SENSOTRONIC is your dependable monitoring temperature unit and can work stand by alone with the

Or Exclusive Actuator JAP200598 or with the complete Sentinel Family in the multiplex combo including Master trip.
