Chapter 13

-          Girls I don�t know what to say about what you just did. You went out of your way to do something against what I wanted., Lou said looking at the girls when he finally got into our dressing room.

-          Oh well I guess that makes it okay that you practically break into our change room., Buffy said sarcastically.

-          Buffy will you grow up and stop acting like a spoilt little brat!, Lou said looking at Buffy.

-          You girls I don�t know, you love to perform and be a pain in my ass!

-          Whoa hold on a minute!, Buffy said raising her hands.

-          No Buffy for once you listen! You pulled the last straw tonight with putting the boys up on that stage and you knew I didn�t want them too! Hell I didn�t want them on tour!, Lou said getting mad.

-          Jesus! You just can�t help yourself!, Karlie said while looking at her new ring.

-          Sorry?, Lou asked.

-          You ruin even the best moments! Cause you weren�t prepared for them. If you had noticed we organized music and we taught the band songs! God everyone knew about it but you and the guys so will you just give it a rest!, Karlie said shaking her head.

-          Give it a rest!, I said shaking my head.

-          Lee be quiet! You go around behind my back doing things you shouldn�t!, Lou said.

-          What? Lou give it up!, Karlie said.

-          Don�t you talk! You go and cause problems where ever you go! You with your boyfriend don�t think I wouldn�t find out you two went to the doctors for a pregnancy test!, Lou said yelling.

-          What you�re saying because I work for you I can�t have kids?, Karlie asked as if some one had just hit her.

-          Not my fault you sleep around!, Lou said.

-          You just went one step to far! I recommend you walk out that door right now. Not before you apologize to Karlie and the others! We don�t need you and we have proved that many times!, Buffy said standing up to Lou.

-          You will regret this! If I walk out that door I�ll sue you for all your worth!, Lou said as he opened the door.

-          Lou take this! There that saves you some time trying to sue us., I said throwing $200 at him.

-          What the hell?, Brian asked as he walked in with the guys not sure what just happened.

-          It's fine., I said as he hugged me.

-          Karlie call our lawyer tell him the problem. Bek write down in detail what happened. No wait! All of you do that because then we can use that in court., Buffy instructed.

-          Buffy look., Dee said pointing to a security camera.

-          Alright Dee get the footage. Lou thinks we can�t do anything? Well he�s going to regret stuffing us around!, Buffy said.

* Six Months Later *

-          Did you read the news paper?, I asked Brian who was sitting down at the kitchen table with Bek and Dee.

-          What news paper?, Brian asked.

-          This!, I said putting the newspaper in front of him.

-          Five girls defeat Record Guru., Brian started to read the head line.

-          The 5 members of the girl group B.A.G, have succeeded at defending their earnings against Popular Record Guru Lou Pearlman. The girls were one of Pearlman�s biggest acts, and also were one of the most disliked by him.

-          Give it here!, Bek said taking the newspaper.

-          The girls went to court well prepared and ready for war. Not only that but the girls brought up past problems Pearlman has cause, not only with their group but the group Take 5 who have recently signed with Jive Records.

-          My turn!, Dee said taking the newspaper.

-          The girls in the legal case have received over $50 Million dollars. They released a statement, which is as follows: With the results of our court case we are quite pleased with the outcome, we send out thanks to many people who help and many friends who have been by our side through out the whole ordeal.

-          We look forward to making more music and helping new artists make their own mark. With this we would like to announce that of after our recent tour is finished we will resign our reigning girl group title to proceed in the music industry as founders of the new record label B.A.G Productions.

-          So what do you think?, I asked everyone.

-          Well I think Lou will be spitting chips for a while., Bek said.

-          Yeah cause he ran out of money to spit., Dee added.

-          I don�t think that�s the end of it. I seriously think you girls should watch your backs. Because a lot of artists signed with Lou are trying to get out and I�m sure Lou will try to get as much as he can., Brian said.

-          Maybe so but he won�t get a penny out of us., I said.

-          He already got $200 out of you., Dee said laughing.

A couple of hours later, we decided to take a little visit to Karlie�s and Buffy�s place to see what they were up to and to talk about the recent news about us in the newspaper.

-          So girls? What do you think about all this?, Karlie asked as we sat outside the place she shares with Buffy.

-          I don�t have a clue., I said laughing at Buffy trying to get a tan.

-          Well I say we enjoy this week off. Because then we have to finish the tour and I got to go home to my man., Karlie said looking at the ring on her finger.

-          What happened to not getting married for a while?, Dee asked laughing.

-          I�m not going to. We plan on waiting for 2 years at least.

-          Why are you playing your guitar?, I asked her.

-          Because I feel like it.

-          Oh yeah sure., Dee laughed.

-          You�re thinking of a song?, Bek asked.

-          Kinda� I just can�t think of a section., Karlie said.

-          Play it!, Buffy said.

-          Sure am!, Karlie said grinning.

-          Wait on! What are we game for?, Bek asked.

-          Return of the Bad @$$ Girlz!, I said laughing.

-          Oh I thought you were talking about something else!, Bek said laughing.

* A Couple Of Minutes Later *

-          We gotta move again., Karlie said.

-          Why?, Buffy asked her.

-          Well you and Steve were talking about moving in together. Bek and Dee were looking at a place near Tilky and Clay. Lee and Brian found a big place with a studio for Brian and for us.

-          What about you?, I asked laughing.

-          Well I�ll have to find a place for Ryan and myself., Karlie said smiling.

-          Would mum and dad like that?, Buffy asked laughing.

-          Who cares! What they don�t know won�t hurt them., Dee said.

-          That sounds like what Karlie said when she got her tattoos., Bek said laughing.

-          Wait! My parents weren�t the only ones not happy. Isnt that right Buffy? Lee? Dee? Bek?

-          Alright I get the idea., I said laughing.

-          Good! Now we do have only a week to bum around. Then a month to finish the tour off then get into organising the office., Buffy said.

-          You and organizing!, Dee said shaking her head.

-          Hey Tilky will you be staying for dinner?, I asked him who was sitting down with Bek talking.

-          What are you having?, he asked.

-          Food! I�m going to call for Chinese!, I said laughing.

-          Yeah I�ll stay!. He said with a funy smile.

-          Hey Lee check this out!, Bek said pointing to the television.

-          What?, I asked going over.

-          Oh that�s not good., I said watching it.

-          That�s even worse than not good., Bek agreed.

-          Crap!, Tilky said looking at the screen.

-          It�s a plane crash. Poor people., I said as I sat down next to Bek.

-          Yeah�,Bek said.

-          Guys listen!, Tilky said urgently when he turned up the volume.

-          On board this flight was the Record Guru Lou Pearlman who sadly passed away two hours ago on the way to the hospital�, the news reporter said.

-          OH NO!, I said shocked.

-          God!, Tilky said in shock.

-          DEE! CLAY! Come down! DEE HURRY!, Bek screamed out.

-          What�s going on?, Dee asked running down the stairs with Clay.

-          Lou�s dead�, I said to her.

-          Lou? Our Lou?, Dee asked.

-          Yes�, Bek said.

-          No! It can�t be!, Dee said.

-          Shit!, Clay said looking at the screen.

-          Girls are you watching the news?, Buffy asked running in with Karlie behind her.

-          Yes., I said looking at Buffy.

-          What do we do now?, Buffy asked.
