Chapter 34

~ Buffy ~

Karlie, Lee, Dasha, Bekah and myself were all sitting around in this big room, which was basically a lounge room for people to hang around in. There were TV's, play stations anything and everything. Karlie was running around calling it heaven on earth.

-          God Karlz! Will you just sit down and relax?, I asked laughing.

-          Mope!, Karlie said which she actually meant �Nope!� but with her tongue ring some words come out differently.

-          Man bad idea to get your tongue done the night you and Ryan get together!, Lee said laughing.

-          Wel! Oh shud up!,  Karlie said.

-          Ha you can't say you ain�t together!, Dasha said.

-          Dee she can't say much!, Bekah said who was sitting in front of the TV watching �Passions�.

-          Hey I wanna go hunting!, Karlie said standing up and walking towards the door.

-          But the show ain�t finished yet!, Bekah said.

-          Dude you tape it anyway!, I said laughing.

-          I guess�, Bekah said turning off the TV.

We walked around the studio's, getting some funny looks off people and were stopped now and then to say we weren't allowed to enter that section of the studio.

-          Excuse me!, a lady asked as we walked past her.

-          Yes?, Dasha asked.

-          Can I ask who you are here with?, the lady asked.

-          We�re here with Take 5!, I said trying not to laugh at how serious the lady was.

-          Which one is Karlie?, the lady asked which shocked us all.

-          I am!, Karlie said waving.

-          Would you follow me please.

-          Um sure!, Karlie said confused.

-          Come on guys!

The lady, who we discovered to be named Sam, took us to a studio of some sort.

-          Why are we here?, I asked confused.

-          Tilky organized for you girls to be in here till later tonight., Sam said.

-          You�re kidding me?, Karlie said laughing.

-          They said tell the audio guys in the room next door when you want to record songs and things like that., Sam said smiling.

-          Oh my god!, Karlie said again.

-          Happy birthday!, Bekah said laughing.

-          You bum!, Karlie said hitting Bekah.

-          What are we gonna do with a recording studio all day?, I asked shocked.

-          Make music! Duh? What else do you think we�ll do?, Lee said laughing.

-          Come on guys lets have some fun!, Dasha said running over to the closest microphone as we gathered around the mics a voice boomed into the room.

-          I�m guessing you're the ones meant to be in here?, a male voice said over an intercom.

-          Yeah!, I said still in shock.

-          So what are you guys gonna record first?, the voice said.

-          Um lets do� Um Poison!, Karlie said really getting into things.

-          Okay who's gonna go first to record?, the voice asked.

-          Karlie!, we all answered.

-          Oh man! Ok it looks like me!, she said.

-          Okay well my name is Brian, and there�s also Matt and Pete in here with me.

-          Okay!, we said.

-          Now all you others wanna go around the corner over there and you will end up in her with us. You can stay in here while we record each person singing., Brian said.

So we all walked over to where we were meant to go, and Karlie stayed where she was. When we walked into the audio room, or what ever its called, we found seats, and we could see Karlie standing around with headphones on.

-          Hey I�m Brian! Okay, do you have any music at all?

-          Um� no!, I said laughing.

-          That's okay! We can look up on archives with other companies and that for songs we need and that!, Brian�s work mate said.

-          Which one are you?, Lee asked.

-          I�m Peter and he's Matt!

-          Oh okay! Hey!, Lee said laughing.

-          Karlie are you ready?, Brian asked her.

-          As ready as I'll ever be!, Karlie said into the microphone.

-          Okay what we are gonna do is get you to sing the whole song and we will work out who should then
sing what part. Then we will get you to then sing those designated sections and we will put it together., Matt had said over the speaker to Karlie.

-          Okidally dokaly! Ready Mr. Music!, Karlie said.

The music to �Poison� (by Bardot) started to play than Karlie started to sing, pretty good for someone who just got a tounge ring.

-          Go Karlie! You kick ass!, I yelled.

-          Um Buffy? Karlie can't hear you!, Bekah said laughing.

-          Oh yeah!, I said forgetting she�s in a sound proof room.

-          Who's next?, Brian asked us.

-          Buffy!, Dasha, Bekah and Lee said.

-          Come off it!, I said trying to get out of it.

-          Na your turn!, Lee said laughing.

-          Okay fine!, I said standing as I got to the door Karlie was on the other side.

-          Go sis! Kick some butt!, Karlie said to me.

-          As if! Not as much as you did!

-          Buffy! Seriously this is for fun! Who cares what people think of it!, Karlie laughed.

I had my turn at singing, then Bekah, Dasha then finally Lee. We all had goes and we enjoyed it. Brian and Matt talked about the levels and stuff most the time, Karlie wanted to know everything, even got goes at playing with the boards.
