Chapter 39
A
few weeks later after Buffy�s funeral, her folks invited her 15 closest
friends for supper in the ceremony of her birthday who suppose to be 17 years
old, at their new house.
They couldn�t stay at the same house, knowing that their only daughter had
took her own life at the kitchen floor. They couldn�t take it anymore and
later move out and install a few house down the block, next to the Sculthorpes.
Everyone had show up, except for Steve. He had called earlier telling them that
he would be late, because he needed to take a little walk before supper.
He was walking alone at the park, trying to clear his mind. Most of the things
reminded him of Buffy. He was still heart broken, but he had managed how to
control it. He stood on a little bridge over a little stream that was pass from
a little lake to another little lake.
Soon after, he heard little kids laughers. He looked towards the direction of
the laughers and he saw 2 little kids playing. One was a girl and the other was
a boy and they were around 5 years old.

Mommy!!
Trevor is not giving back my pail!!, the little girl screamed.

if you give me a kiss and give it back to you!

MOMMY!!!!,
the little girl screamed.
She
ran back to her mom with the little boy behind her and gave back the pail. She
gave him a kiss on the cheeks, but the little boy wipe it off.
Steve started to laughed softly while looking at them. It remind him of Buffy
and him while they were younger.

Flashback since 1989 *
Buffy
and Steve were only 5 and 6 years old. She was playing in the sand box, while
Steve was playing with his truck. He later on stole her pail and got away with
it. She screamed and cried telling him to give it back. But he said that he only
give it back, only if he could have a kiss.
Buffy started to cried, but he still not giving it back. She wiped her tears
with her sleeves and looked at Steve who was laughing. Instead of crying again,
she took him by the collar and plant a kiss on the lips.
He back off in a hurry as he wiped away the kiss that was given by her. He
started crying at his turn and ran to see his mom.

Back To The Present *
With
a smile, he remembered the day like it was yesterday. Buffy was his first kiss.
He even realize that she was his first in almost everything. First date to a
dance, first person to dance with. She was also the first person that Steve
turned to for advice. Steve was the first person that she turned to for help too
on anything� almost anything.
He later put his hands in the pocket of his jacket and pulled out a bunch of
letters and a little box. He didn�t remember what the letters may said. He
opened one of the letter and started to read it. After reading a few lines, he
started to walk faster towards the grave yard.
