Chapter 28

* Back To The Present *

As Buffy was searching for her music binder, while thinking about that day, she heard some heavy footsteps walking towards her. She didn�t care a bit, until she hear a familiar voice talking to her.

-          Hey�, a familiar male voice said before she turned around and smiled.

-          Hey Steve! Aren�t you suppose to be with Donna? I mean� it�s Valentine�s Day. You know the day of love and everything� or maybe you forgot it!, she laughed.

-          First: It�s nice to see you smile and laughing again. Second: Yes I suppose to be with Donna. Third: Can I guy come by and wish his best girl friend �Happy Valentine�s Day!�, he said as he give her a single red rose.

-          Oh my god Steve!, were the only words Buffy could said as she put one of her hand up her mouth and then to her chest.

She took the rose and looked at Steve�s deep brown mysterious eyes. They both smile at each other, but Buffy was really surprise about what he had given her. The last time he ever gave her flowers was when she was at the hospital when she was 10 years old. She gave him the biggest hug that she ever gave him and Steve did the same for her. They had hug for a very long time, but was whispering some few words in the ears too.

-          Happy Valentine�s Day Steve�, she said to him.

-          Happy Valentine�s Day to you to Buffy� You know even if this is the day for couples and stuff, but it�s also a day for friendship�

-    You are so sappy!, Buffy laughed.

-    Hey I got it from you alright! So I blame you!

Steve wiped it away and asked what was wrong and if it was about Justin again. She laughed softly at that question and of course, Steve was confuse.

-          It�s about when you and the guys sang to the girls!

-          Oh that! Sorry that it remind you of�

-          Hey it�s okay! But somehow I think that you guys stole his idea!, she said with a smile as Steve tried to look innocent.

-          But anyways I was just shocked about the rose!, she continued.

-          Hey I know that you loves roses! So I want to give you something that you love. And well�I can�t really gave you a dolphin or a white tiger or even a dragon!, Steve said with a smile as Buffy laughed softly.

-          Well you can at least give a car, but that�s okay� thanks bro! Thanks for being there for me. Thanks for everything!, she said to him while giving him a hug.

-          No problem sis! You know that I�ll be there for you no matter what! And I know that you�ll do the same for me!

She told him to go see Donna cause she was positive where he could be. He gave her a quick kiss on the cheeks and left. She looked at him walking down the hall like he own the place. She quietly laughed at it and just grab her stuffs and walk towards the music class. The bell had rang and everyone was in their classes. Buffy was the only one who chose music this year and beside Maria, she played the flute. While practicing a song, she started to get dizzy and very weak for some reason.

-          Charisma are you okay?, as her music teacher.

-          Hum� yes Mrs. Applegate! Just a little tired from the heat I think�

-          Okay� but if you�re not feeling well. Tell me okay?

-          Yeah Mrs. Applegate!

After that little talk with her music teacher, she begging to feel more and more tired and weak. Every 6 minutes, she always stopped playing, cause she felt so tired. She didn�t say a word to Mrs. Applegate, cause she don�t want her or the others to get worry about her.

The next bell rang and it was finally the last period of the day. Instead of going to her locker, Buffy went directly towards her Spanish class, which suppose to have with Steve. As she walked towards the classroom, she started to have a huge headache and started to get dizzy. She stopped and put her head down as she touched her forehead. She heard Steve calling her up, but she didn�t response. Steve came up to her with a concern look at his face. He though that she was crying again. He put one of his hands at Buffy�s waist and the other at her cheeks to lift her head up.

-          Buff are you okay?, he asked while looking at her.

-          Hum� yeah, I�m okay Steve. Just a little tired that�s all!

-          Are you sure?

-          I�m positive!

As Buffy started to walk again, her dizziness  just get worse and worse every time. Steve saw how tired she was, that he asked her to go and see the nurse, but she kept saying no. Steve decided not to push it too far, cause he knew that Buffy could be very hard-headed like he is.

As soon as he let her go, she blacked out and felt in front of him, but he caught her in time. Steve freaked out and bent down to help her and try to wake her up, but she was unconscious.

-          Charisma?! Sweetie!? Wake up!, Steve started to say to her while helping her.

Chapter 29
