Chapter 26

-          � He forgot his wallet so we didn�t end up going nowhere!, Lee said as she was talking about her date with Tilky last night.

-          That�s a guys memory! Always forgot stuff!

-          Hey Buffy! It depends which guy you�re talking about!, Steve said with Donna in his arms.

-          What ever! It�s the same thang! Hey guys� here�s Nick and Lissy?, she continued.

-          I don�t know?, Sergio said with a kooky smile.

Then everyone got the hint on what he was talking about. They continued on with their lunch and conversations.

~* In The Hallway *~

Lissy and Nick were walking in the hallways talking about everything. They both never had this sort of conversation before and they were so surprise that they had a lot of thing in commons. Nick really made it clear that he was not what she thought what people said about him.

-          Listen Lissy! I wanna make this clear between us! I REALLY want you to believe me�

-          Oh okay? What it is?, she asked with a confuse look.

-          Well  it�s about the things that heard around school. About me being a player�

-          Oh! That�

-          Listen� what you heard about me are FALSE! All of them! About me being a player, about me using girls for my own amusement? I RESPECT WOMEN and you know that�

-          Yeah� I know! But why you try to clear all this up with me?

-          Because I had like you for a EVERY LONG TIME! I�m afraid that if I asked you out you would turn me down, because of what you heard from people and I need to clear this�

Before Nick could finish what he wanted to say, she cut him off with a soft kiss on the lips. She put her arms around his neck and his arms around her waist to get her closer to her. They slowly kissed with passion. They pulled out slowly and looked at each others.

-          I had like you for a long time too..., she softly whispered in his ear.

-          Next time when you have something in your mind and it involve me in it! Tell me as soon as possible! Cause I don't wanna play no games!!, he said followed with a smile.

She gave him back a smile and they kissed once more, before pulled out, by a scream of joy. They both turn around and saw the others running towards them. Everyone congratulated them with hugs. Everyone had someone special in their life, everyone was happy� everyone, except for Buffy.

For some reason, Buffy, after congratulated, went to the girls bathroom. She had a feeling that no one had realize that she was gone. As soon as she got inside, locked the room and started crying again. She heard someone knocking on the door.

-          Buffy? Please come out!?, said a familiar female voice.

She opened up and it was Karlie, Lee and Tiff standing waiting for her. As soon as she saw three of her best friends, she jumped into Lee�s arms sobbing. The 2 others came over and gave a hug while she was still in Lee�s arms.

-          Shut� It�s okay Buff�, Lee said.

-          Don�t worry� We�ll be there for you�, Tiff said in her turn.

-          We all guarantee that you�ll be alright�, Karlie said.

Buffy pulled out and walked towards the mirror and wiped her tears off. It really hurt her to see that all of her friends have someone, except her. Everyone though that Bastien and her would be hooking up, but he had moved away to Washington about 2 weeks ago for his studies.

Buffy turned to her friends to forget about what had happen and let be happy for Lissy, because she finally got what she wanted and must show a happy face on. Her friends nodded, forcing a smile, they knew that even if Buffy tried to hide her feelings, it never worked.
