Chapter 18

Buffy was at the general store to get some stuff on the list and to get some few stuff of herself too. While she was looking for some new shade of color, a tall guy bump into her so hard that she felt on the floor.

-          I�m sorry miss!, the guy said as he help her getting up.

-          Yes! I�m perfectly fine!, she said as he started to bug her.

-          Charisma? Charisma Buffy Angel?, the young man said.

-          Yeah? How do you know my name?, she asked with a confuse look.

The guy laughed and gave her a sexy smile. The guy was about 5�10, with brown hair and some blond highlights and his eyes were deep brown. He was buff and very cute. She looked at him deeply in the eyes while frowning and twitchy her eyebrows.

-          OH MY GOD! Bastien? Bastien Gagn�! The guy who�s the pain in the ass in elementary school?, Buffy said with a shock and a smile while pointing at him before they laughed.

-          Yup, but much older, smarter, wiser and more buff!

They had talked for a while and he asked her, if she would like to join him for a bite to eat or a drink. She accepted the invitation with a smile. They went to a little coffee shop next to the store and they had talk and laughed non-stop. She felt so alive and happy again for once in a few months. Bastien had made her happy feelings raise to the surface like it use to be. But she felt that something is missing, but she couldn�t put her finger on it.

-          So are you seeing anyone?, Bastien asked before taking a sip for his espresso.

-          Well let say that I don�t have time to have one�

-          You�re kidding me right? I mean a girl like you can�t stand single for long.

-          Well thanks�I guess! But really I�m not looking for a relationship right now. I just got off  from a very bad break-up and I just wanna take things slow.

-          I understand, but if you are ready for a relationship, tell me okay? Cause I wanna be the first one to be on line to ask you out�

She laughed softly as soon as she heard that. After 2 hours later, she looked at her watch and jumped. Before she left, she asked Bastien if he would like to come to the party that night, which he accepted the invitation without hesitation, before they left. She ran to her car and drove back to Ryan�s and Clay�s place with a whole new feeling of joy and happiness, along side with the song from Nelly and with a smile on her face that never came down.

~* At Clay�s And Ryan�s Place *~

-          Where�s the HELL is Buffy?, Ryan kept saying for the pass 15 minutes.

-          She said that she�ll be picking up some few stuff and took your car!, Clay  said.

-          I know but she can�t wander off like that!

-          RYAN! SHUT UP! Or I�ll be the anyone gonna make you shut up!, Lugo said with Paola tuck under his arms.

Everyone laughed at Lugo�s comment, except Ryan who looked at him with a half smiling with a little embarrassment.

After Buffy had left, Amy was going to ask her for something, but when she turned around, she was gone. She told Clay who told everyone that Buffy was gone and Ryan freaked out when he remembered her saying about jumping down a bridge. He also found out that she had took his car keys. Some how they all though that she had left, because they were kissing and looking in each other eyes and that really piss her off. A few second later, they heard the front door open.

-          There you are!, Karlie said as she came to give her Buffy a hug.

-          What�s going on?, she asked with a weird look.

-          A moment ago you were there and when we had our back turn� you had vanish in thin air!, Paola said.

-          All you were kinda busy so I didn�t want to bug you!!, she said with a laugh.

-          What had happen when you were gone? You look all happy all of a sudden!

-          Are you saying that I don�t deserve to be happy?, she said to Lugo.

-          I don�t mean that! Yeah of course you deserve to be happy!, he said as he tried to explain.

-          I know what you mean! Is that something happen today at the store.

-          What? You beat up someone?, Karlie joked as everyone laughed.

-          Mind sharing it with 6 of your best of friends in the whole wide world?, Clay said with a smile.

After explaining the situation, she mentioned to her friends that she had invited Bastien to the party, which the others were okay with it. About 2 hours later, Buffy had suggest to go back home to get ready and the others agree. The girls wave back in Karlie�s car and when back at Buffy�s place.
