Chapter 1

Hey you!

How things in your Sunshine State? Doing good in my side of the country, basically I'm avoiding Matt. Yeah I play hard to get and he knows it *evil laugh*. That's very sweet of you to write back to me, even if your friends were there to bug ya with it. But anyways who cares right? =P

Well of course, the name is Charisma. I just recently turn 18 and finally legal in Quebec. I'm also finishing High School and I'm going to a French one, which I hate. Believe or not, but I hate speaking French, argh so hard! *puppy sad face* I'm into body piercing and tattoos. This typical Asian, just basically like to do what everybody go. Such as shopping (but not a freaking maniac), singing, love to dance, hanging out with my crew and clubbing. I also like to work-out in my spare times and especially boxing and kick-boxing, which my uncle is my personal coach. Hey I love fighting what can I say? =P

Well I got to get going. Meeting a few people and might trash a few parties on the way *kidding*. Well take it easy yourself and hope that you dont think Im psycho!

~*~*~*~

A few months and years had pass by, James and Charisma friendship had grew. Charisma had send a few of her pictures to James, but he felt sorry that he couldn't send his and he didn't have a scanner. She understood.

During those months, they finally got a whole of MSN Messenger, which they talked to each other every chance they get. Not only both of them were very busy with school, but they were also working. They became very close friends and they started to tell each others confidents, theirs problems, their little secrets, shared advice, etc. They never though that something like that could even happen. Of course they had some doubt about it, telling a stranger about your life. But their friendship was such a long time, that they didn't mind anymore.

One day, Charisma told James that Matthew and herself had called it quit after 2 years of relationship, because they couldn't work out things anymore and especially Rachel was always in the story. It was very hard on her, especially he was her first love. He was there to support her as much as he could, but Charisma was already grateful for his present, or persay. The following evening, she didn't went out with her friends and decided to go in basement, working-out and hitting a few punches before hitting her long and bubble bath and then the sheets.

The phone rang, but she didn't bother answer it, knowing it could probably be Matthew who never stopped calling her, ever since their break-up. He was trying to get back with her and prove to her that Rachel doesn't mean a thing to him. She was fed up with it and told him off. Her mom opened up the door and told her that it was someone from long distance. At first, Charisma though it might be Kathy, because ever since she got her unlimited phone card, she been calling everyone, especially her.

"Hello?", she said while wiping her sweat off from her face.

"Damn! Why the hell are you working out on that sappy music?", said the voice on the phone while the CD of Evanesence was playing loud.

"Well in my case it helps me getting my anger out and working out. Instead of going out and kick your ex-boyfriend and ex-friend asses. And if it doesn't bother you... it helps me to relax.", she answered in an unfriendly and cold voice.

"Oh really? Now don't be so piss!", the voice said in a soft matter.

"Yeah okay! Now tell me who the fucking hell you are? So I wouldn't hang up on you and make you wish you're not here in front of me!", she snapped.

"Whoa calm down Angel!"

"Angel?", Charisma questioned knowing that only one person called her by that nickname. "James?", she slowly said not to sure what to say.

"Yeah Angel it's me. And if I knew you were pissed off, I would tell you who I am at the first place."

Charisma sat down on her couch, not believing it was James on the other line. Even though they had exchange their phone number a few weeks ago. Suddenly a smile appeared on her face, a smile that haven't showed since the break-up. Never heard his voice before, she could tell it was a young man's voice around her age for real. Not only that, but she felt very attracted with the sound of his smooth voice.

"J? Can I ask why this long distance call? I mean its going to cost you a bundle!"

"Yeah I know, but money is not important when you want to know how your Angel is holding up. And I told myself, that it's even better to surprise her and make her day to call her instead of e-mailing her. Anything for my little Angel..."
