Prologue
It had been foretold...
"Into each generation a Slayer is born. One
girl in all the world, a Chosen One. One born with the strength and skill to
fight the vampires, to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their
numbers."
For every vampire in the world, there is a Slayer. The
Slayer Code: Destroy all vampires with the obligatory aid of super strength,
fighting ability and an acute and intense gift of timing-think of it as being
bitten by a radioactive spider minus the leotard. Its not only vampires,
however, that these warriors have chosen the responsibility to annihilate. They
also have to time-out demons, monsters and just about every other kind of nasty
that can come to mind. When a Slayer times a creature out, it doesnt entail
making them stand in a corner. Usually, the end result is a heinously bloody
slaughter, sometimes accompanied by one of todays hottest bands. With the aid
of a Watcher-who trains and looks out for each Slayer-these superhuman
do-gooders have been known mostly to lurk in the shadows alone, following their
prey-the bloodsucking undead. As you can imagine, these heroes have an unhealthy
expiration datemost dont live to see past 20.

Sun was beaming in the blue clear sky. The sound of
birds singing in the trees. And the sound of the ringing bell, meaning school
had just started. The story began in1996, at Lake Side High School. A normal
day for every teens. Most young teenagers started to think what to do with
their life and what destiny got in store for them.
But the destiny for 3 young teenage girls, who just started their Junior High,
were a different story. Theirs destinies were written and mark in their book of
life, even before they were conceive. Ever since their first day of High
School, they were been watch by a unlikely person, who called himself a Watcher.
One day, while one of them was doing a research at a local book store, the man
walked up to her and asked she needed some help. She had a feeling that she had
seen him somewhere. As time passed by, she and her 2 close friends spent their
times there with the Watcher. On the day of the youngest birthday, he took them
to the cemetery to test their forces. Of course, they had no idea what he was
talking about, but took the chance anyway.
At nightfall, the girls were left alone in the dark and haunted cemetery, after
the man explained what they had to do and gave each of the girl a wooden stake.
They were all confuse, but soon as they turned their heads, another shadow
appeared out of nowhere 6 of them.
"Well! May I ask why 3 beautiful young ladies are
doing in this dusty cemetery?", one of the shadow said.
"Why would we tell you guys?", one of the girl replied.
"Because you know its not good to travel in night.
You never know what might crept out in the dark.", another guy replied.
The youngest only pulled her stake in front of her, ready to
attack. She didnt know what she was doing, only felt she had done it before.
All 6 of them were in shock, not knowing what to think. Suddenly, the guy who spoke up the first, order 3 of them to attack, while
the 2 others stayed with him. The girls back away a couple of feet, not knowing
what to do in their turn. They wanted to run, but a invisible force made them
stay in place. One of the creature jumped on one of them, but escape as soon as
she kicked him away.
"Stake him! Stake him to the heart! Its the only way to kill it!
Trust me I know!", a voice yelled in the cold air.
"Rupert? Where are you?", one of the girl screamed as she fought
back.
"Just do what I say or wont be alive for the next crack of dawn!"
The tallest girl jumped in the air, and kicked him across the
face. Once of the floor, the other girl jumped on him and staked him across the
heart, before he was turn into dust.Even though the girls were tired to continue and were scared to
death, but they knew it have something to do with heir life and had a feeling
that had done it before. After an couple of minutes later, they only end up
slaying the 2 creatures, but the 3 others had escape.
Rupert came and helped them to get back home. They were pissed at him and
haven't spoken a word on the way home. Didn't know what to do or think. Even
though it was only one night, he knew that theses girls were the chosen ones.
After cleaning up at one of the girls home, they sat down on the couch with a
cup of tea, ready to heard the explication Ruperts had in his mind.
"Please forgive me girls. I had to make sure you are the chosen
one. And I think its time for you to know your destinies.", he spoke when the
girls all made funny faces, "Please calm down. It wont help you ach your pain away. Just it
still and listen."
The oldest was kind of piss off, not knowing what those creatures
they fought were. Especially, their bodies were aching like they had never felt
before. All they wanted was to go bed and rest, but soon, Ruperts continued
his story.
"You girls are Slayers.
As long as there have been demons, there has been the Slayer. One girl, a
Chosen one, born with the strength and skill to hunt vampires and other deadly
creatures, to find then where they gather and to stop the spread of their evil
and the swell of their numbers. When one Slayer dies, the next is called and
trained by the Watcher. For a particular reasons, all 3 of you were born as Slayers. All in the blood which
flows in your veins. The Council in England still do not know why all three of
you were all in the same time. It is still a myth to us."
"And the 'demons' that we had 'slay' were?"
"Vampires. They are demonic creatures who live off the blood of
humans; a vampire appears to be a normal person until the feed is upon them -
only then do they reveal their true demonic visage.," he paused. "This world is
older than any of you know, and contrary to popular mythology, it did not begin
as a paradise. For untold eons, Demons walked the earth; made it their home...
their Hell. In time they, the demons, lost their purchase on this reality, and
the way was made for the mortal animals. For Man. What remains of the Old Ones
are vestiges: certain magics, certain creatures and Vampires."
After Ruperts last words, the girls became silent. They knew it
sounded crazy, but what they did and saw that night were enough to convincing
them that vampires and demons exist and their was no escape to their destiny.
