Chapter 14
Meanwhile, the Slayers and the rest of the crew quietly made their
ways into the deep and dark forest where the ritual would be held like Buffy
said. As the full moon slowly made its way towards the dark and clear sky, they
still asked and wondered how the young Slayer could knew about where the ritual would be
held when they saw some of the demons guarding the main entrance.
Greg quietly made his ways towards the nearest big tree to hid himself behind
it, when he saw the path was clear, he made a hand movement to Lissy to make
her move. She concentrated and threw a rock towards the guards to get their
attention and it almost hit him. Out of no where, Buffy and Karlie jumped
behind them from their hiding spot, and twisted their necks till they heard a
snapping sound. After their enemies dropped dead on the ground, Karlie went to check if
the enemies weapons could useful. Greg and Clay watched in
somehow with fear and horror, touching their necks, knowing that it could
happen to them in the battle.
While the others were dragging the demons corpse, Lee, Lissy and Buffy slowly
continued their ways towards the main ritual and hid behind some of the trees
and gave the others a signal to move in closer. When they all stood behind some
of the trees and bushes, they looked up and clearly saw their friends tied up
and looked badly hurt. Not far away, was Drusilla who was dancing from the
music which some of the demons were playing as a sign that the ritual would
start soon. Balthazar, who was making a final preparation for the ritual with
some of his minions next to him who were holding the bloodstone and the Empita
spell, while Steve who was clearly in their vision field, was standing and
looking at Drusilla and acted like nothing in the world matter to him.
"Shit! I'm SO gotta shove my stake up through Steve's ass!". Lee
said when she said how badly their friends condition were.
Buffy didn't show any reaction nor emotion on what was going around
her. She seemed so quiet, serious, and yet mysterious.
She was too concentrated on what Balthazar's next move and what they were
doing, but her eyes were more hook on Steve and then her feelings started to
rose up and built up a painful, but "nice" feelings.
"Lissy? Think you can untied them with your magic?" Buffy asked as
she ignored what the others were saying.
"Sorry Buff.", she looked carefully at the chain, "I think it's impossible�"
"What do you mean you can't?"
"There's magically tied and I think the only way to undo the spell
is to kill the person who made that spell�"
"Well since we don't know who tied them, there's nothing else to
do that to kill them all�"
Before Buffy could stood up and almost threw the arrows from her
crossbow to the others guards who was guarding theirs vampires friends, Greg
pulled her down and said that it could be dreadful and better way till the ritual
started. She disagreed with him and mentioned that when Balthazar would start
his ritual, more vampires and certain demons would guard him and the circle.
"Listen Buffy! Forget the plan A. We have a clear view of the
ritual and the center of the circle. I have another plan."
Buffy turned her head around, her
attention at Clay. She only gazed at her friend with a look and decided to gave
the spot to him who explained their battle plan quickly and how it would
proceed.
"We're going to split into a 4 teams of 2. Each of the team would
be in the north, south, east and west of the circle. After the dark priests or
something like that comes in and we�re going to attack them by surprise."
"How we're going to do that?", Karlie asked him.
"That's when we're going to lose one of the team who'll be in the ritual�"
"Huh?", all answered at the same time.
"All I'm saying is that now we're going to need Buffy's and Lee's
acting expertise. Sure we could use Kaz also, but we're going to need you as a
back-up if the plan's backfire."
"Alright!"
Was all what Karlie could say in a serious tone which
was weird as Lee and Buffy were looking at each other wondering Clay was
planning it up and especially how long. After Clay cracked up a smile, Buffy gave everyone their position
and waited for the signal before the attack. After everyone agreed with her
idea, they all went quietly to their position and hide themselves as Buffy and
Lee went to another way to tried to do what he told them and hoped that their
plan wouldn�t back-fire.

As the full moon appeared in the dark sky, 6 priests dressed in a
black robes covering every part of their bodies, entered into the main
entrance. They were following by Balthazar and the sorceress who possessed the
Empita scroll in his hands.
While the 6 priests placed themselves to a circle, Balthazar and the sorceress
went into the middle of the form circle where there was a huge jar waiting for
them. From not far away, the others looked and watched impatiently as Balthazar
placed the bloodstone inside it while the sorceress spoke the spell that was
written on the scroll. However, Balthazar said the last words�
"Children of the beast embraces
To scorn and hate the human race
Consume the darkness that hugs thy Earth
And ache the wounds that was giving birth
To a creature that will appear
And kill the innocents and weak through this final tear
Repita then will come
When the moon is set to twenty-one..."
"Soon Repita will rise up again and your Slayers friends aren't
nowhere to be found.", the sorceress said as Drusilla slowly stroke her hand on
Andrew's cheeks. "So there's nothing else to but to make you four one of us�"
"Guess again!", said a voice in the background.
Everyone turned their heads and attention towards the voice, but
seemed that they couldn't find it until one of the priest steeped in front and
took off its hood, revealing one of the person whom they though wouldn't show
up.
After Buffy revealed herself as one of the priest, she held up her
crossbow which was hidden under her long black sleeves. Without any mercy or
hesitation, she shoot the arrow directly to the heart of the sorceress, giving
the vampires friends to escape. Before anyone could attack, Lee revealed
herself also as one of the priest and shoot Balthazar with her crossbow. Out of
nowhere, the others jumped out of their hidden places as the 2 slayers took off
their robe and continued their dreadful war.
Lissy jumped out of her hidden place and threw some
of the demons and vampires just by an easy movement of her hand, levitated
herself or even threw a ball of fire, which she can easily concentrates all her
energy into one ball or even makes the ground shake with the force of nature.
Clay looked at Lissy in action and never saw her force in a maximum rate and
capacity. Most of the demons and vampires that she threw, were broken in half,
others were squashed on the rocks or trees or even got burned. Clay came back
to his sense after a vampire jumped behind him. He punched its nose with the
help of his fist, but it didn't do much help. Just then he felt a light weight
on his back, and turned around, just to discovered Ryan who dust the vampire,
which was on his "little brother's" back.
"Are you okay Clay?". He asked as he extended his hand.
"Yeah thank brother!", he replied after he took his hand to help him get up.
