Souichi Tomoe was your average scientist, until one day when a laboratory explosion killed his only daughter, Hotaru. While he held her lifeless body and cried, a demon appeared to him and promised to bring Hotaru back if Tomoe'd give him his body as a vessel. Tomoe agreed, and the scientist , now possessed by Pharaoh 90, took over as commander of the Deathbusters. Master Pharoah 90 is the actual leader, but the others had to mke it possible for him to come to Earth. In the anime, Tomoe-san is reformed and gets to be with his daughter for a little while , then Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna take her away to be a senshi. In the manga, Sailor Moon kills him kills him. As she does, Hotaru watches and says : "Papa...the gentle papa when mama died...the papa who rescued me...he wasn't my papa anymore. Goodbye, papa." Beautiful, huh?

The way Misstress 9 is created varies between versions.
Manga: Professor Tomoe was already psycho, and he rebuilt Hotaru after the lab accident as a cyborg. Kaolinite showed him the daimon eggs, and he willingly planted one in Hotaru. Thus , causing her to eventually become Misstress 9.
Anime: When Professor Tomoe gives his soul to Pharoh 90, Pharoah 90 plants Missterss 9 within Hotaru.
In both versions, Hotaru wins out and kills the evil within by herself.

Eudial is the first of the Witches 5 that we encounter. She mainly uses the Fire Buster or her Fire Buster 2 for attacking the senshi. She is majorly afraid of snails, and the second weakest of the 5.

Mimete is the second of the Witches 5, and the weakest. She was always reading manga and drooling over idols in Professor Tomoe's lectures, then she'd use the excuse that they were to be her next target.

Tellu is the third of the Witches 5. She uses flowers and plants to attack the senshi. She is the second strongest Her special flowers were called tellurians, and they flourished without any care.

M: Sailor Pluto

Villuy is the fourth witch, and the third strongest (right in the middle). She uses electronics to fight the senshi, and the mosaic blaster on her wrist. In the manga, she is actually the third witch.

Cyprine (right) and Pichurol (left) are twins, sharing the title of 5th, final, and strongest witch. They use their staffs and the attack "ribbon buster" on the senshi. In the anime, we see them both from the start, but the manga has a poof of smoke and Cyprine splitting into two.

M: Super Sailor Moon

Queen Neherenia is THE head honcho in SuperS. For the first part of the season, she is trapped inside a mirror and uses Zirconia and the others to do her dirty work for her. But later she breaks out and does it herself. She is very vain, and she's the one that cursed Elysion, darkened the Earth, and turned Elios into a pegasus. Neherenia believed that she should be the owner of the ginzuishou. Neherenia was born of the dark side of the moon, and is, in a since, Princess/Queen Serenity's evil twin. She is killed by Eternal Sailor Moon in the manga, and in the anime she is finally reformed in the Neherenia Arc of Stars.

Golden Queen Galaxia is the last villain in all of BSSM. She used to be a good senshi, like those of the Solar System, but then a great evil came into the universe: Chaos. Sailor Galaxia, being the strongest senshi of all, tried to fight Chaos, but found that it wasn't possible. So she sealed it into her own body. After a while, she could feel Chaos cionsuming her, making her become evil. So...
Anime: She sent Chibichibi out to find Sailor Moon, so she could defeat it.
Manga: It was already too late and Chaos took over.
Either way, Sailor Moon found out. Galaxia was trying to get the starseeds of all the senshi in existence, so she killed all of those from the Solar System (which was apparently the last stop on the starseed-stealing-bus), and Mamoru's. Usagi was the only one who could stop her now. In the anime, Usagi stops her and she becomes good again. In the manga, Chaos kills her.

Galaxia's followers are the Sailor Animates. They used to be good senshi of distant planets, but evil Galaxia destroyed their planets and stole their starseeds. They were givena choice of dying or staying alive and working for her; they chose the latter. They had hopes of overthrowing her, but they didn't succeed. There is also Sailor Lead Crow (no gif for her yet - gomen!), and there are a lot more Animates in the manga.
