Series Summaries
Season one:
The Inner senshi are re-awakened, Tuxedo Kamen comes onto the scene. We find out about the Silver Millenium, the senshi's past, and why they were re-awakened in the first place: to find and protect the Princess. In the anime, there is the Rainbow Crystal plot. Then, once the Ginzuishou is found and they remember their pasts, the Dark Kingdom kidnaps Tuxedo Kamen and brainwashes him into trying to get the Ginzuishou back from the senshi. He fails, and the Inners all die getting Sailormoon to the fight with Metallia. They fight and Sailormoon wins. All the good guys are brought back to life eventually, but without their memories as senshi.
Nancini's rating for first season: The original is so much better! It's a bit more childish, so it gets 4 Grandpas.
Season Two/R:
In the second season, the Senshi are re-awakened by Luna so that they can fight the new enemies. The first arc has the aliens, Ail and Ann- another thing that never happened in the manga. The aliens steal energy to keep their Doom Tree mother alive. A battle ensues, and they are all cleansed of the evil and leave to start over. All kinds of  stuff happens with them, including various crushes on Usagi and Mamoru. The second arc has the Black Moon clan, and the first appearance of Chibiusa. As with the Dark Kingdom, the varios minions are killed off one by one until only the head honchos remain. The final battle with Wiseman is truly splendiferous (my own word, heh heh. no i DIDN'T steal it from tigger, i've never heard him say it! >_<). This time, none of the good guys die.
Nancini's rating for R: DiC sux, in case you didn't already know. Most people don't like Chibiusa, but I don't hate her that much so it gets 4 and a half Grandpas. See the subtitled version if you can!
.5
Season Three/ S:
Rei begins having visions of the end of the world. The girls are all studying for high school entrance exams, and are enjoying the peace after the Black Moon. Then the Deathbusters show up and begin stealing heart crystals. New senshi also appear each time, helping the Inners defeat the enemies and examining each crystal to see if it's a "talisman." They are the Outer Senshi, Uranus and Neptune. Their hearts, along with Sailorpluto's, are the talismans. They form the Holy Grail and Sailormoon powers up into Super Sailormoon. Then the Witches 5, peons of the Deathbusters, begin releasing daimon to find hearts for their Dark Messiah. Chibiusa comes back and finds a new friend in Tomoe Hotaru, who turns out to be the dark messiah. Eventually the Witches 5 are defeated,  Hotaru becomes Mistress 9, and an awesome final few episodes result.
Nancini's rating for S: The whole season has a dark, creepy feel to it, and things are made so much cooler thanks to the presence of the Outers. 5 Grandpas!!!
Season Four/ SuperS:
During a solar eclipse a strange, evil circus appears in the town, but only the Senshi can tell that it's evil. The Amazon Trio and Amazoness Quartet begin showing up to steal Dream Mirrors, trying to find the Golden Mirror that holds Pegasus and can free their Queen, Neherenia. Chibiusa has the mirror. Pegasus, AKA Elios, visits her every night, and every time they fight he helps SuperSailormoon keep the Lemures at bay. All present Senshi get Super-form power-ups. Eventually the Dead Moon Circus finds out that Chibiusa has it, and they kidnap her. While the Quartet and Trio are turned good, Neherenia and Zirconia are not. They both are killed by SuperSailormoon.
Nancini's rating for SuperS: Most people don't like this season, and I have to agree. It's a lot like S, but too slow-moving. Plus, they tried to make it a bit more cheerful (S being so dark and all) and they kinda went overboard. And the Outers aren't in it- BIG mistake. 3 Grandpas.
Season Five/ SailorStars:
The first arc has Neherenia, revived and back to terrorize everyone. She makes pieces of a mirror fall from the sky. They land in people's varoius body parts, including Mamoru's eye. He goes whacko and buys a bunch of mirrors. People all over Juuban start acting weird around mirrors, and mirror parodies that look like Neherenia show up to keep the Senshi's lives interesting. Eventually Neherenia returns to her senses and wakes up in her kingdom as a child. The second arc has Galaxia and her Sailor Animates. The Sailor Starlights, extraterrestrial Sailor Senshi,  also appear and pose as male idol singers, The Three Lights, singing to find their princess. Also, a srtange little girl appears that can only say her name: ChibiChibi. Mamoru has left for college in America and hasn't kept in touch with poor Usagi at all. One of the three Starlights, Seiya, starts trying to seduce her. Hotaru has been reborn and lives with the Outers, then she ages and the Senshi are all killed off. Sailor Galaxia stole their starseeds. Eventually Eternal Sailormoon and ChibiChibi, and the Starlights are the only ones left. The Animamates have also all been killed, so Galaxia's the only one left. The fight a long glorious battle, and Usagi prevails. Chibichibi goes back from whence she came, and the fallen Senshi-and Mamoru-come back to life. The Starlights return to Kinmokusei with their Princess Kakyuu, and peace comes to the Senshi at last.
Nancini's rating for SailorStars: It all feels so final. Proably the best of the five, or at least a close second after S. 5 Grandpas.
