| -It's cheaper -Subtitles interfere with the animation -Sometimes they *do* get it translated correctly -Sometimes the voices do actually fit the character without being incredibly annoying -If you wanted to do a screen capture for an image, the words would be along the bottom and that's really annoying -Sometimes you don't have to pay any money to see it because it's on TV! -You can mute it and make up your own dialog, however weird you want "Chibiusa! You can't elope! You may be 903, but you look like a ten-year-old! You'd never get away with it! You stay out of it, Elios!" -You can focus on the art and the unspoken things more if you're not busy reading subtitles |
| The Purists are screaming. I can hear them! And I am a purist myself. But I'm also a friend of the mute button and usually totally broke. So here's something for you to contemplate. And I don't mind if you're a purist and you think I'm totally wrong! Because even a broken clock's right twice a day! ^.^v |
