pronunciation: a= ah (as in hurrah)
                         i= ee (as in beet)
                        u=oo (as in zoo)
                        e=eh (as in cliche`)
                        o=oh (as in no)
when there are 2 consenants, the vowel before them is pronounced twice. 'su' is not pronounced as an ending sound. 'ou' is pronounced the same as 'o'
