| We Are |
| We believe in the power of the warrior arts to release us from the illusion of body-mind-spirit separation. Through these arts, we become whole. We achieve a level of connectedness, to ourselves and to one another ,that we could not otherwise achieve. At the same time, we gain self-discipline, physical fitness, self-defense skills and a legacy to cherish and to pass on to others. The "Fire" in our dojo name & symbol represents the nexus of the physical and the spiritual. The "torch" symbolizes tradition and our commitment to "pass it forward". |
| Some of us are still in Middle School. Some are in High School. Still others are in National Service or the Army. Some are in university, Others have finished college and are out in the world working, raising families or both. All of us speak Hebrew and English, Some prefer one, some, the other. Yet all of us share certain things in common: We all serve the same Creator- though we might do so in different ways, We all love our country, Israel, We all love to train together, each for our own reasons, And we all love to welcome new students and share our Art with them.. |
