When we bred our Alex to Chip, we had no idea that we would get this little baby doll. She barely weighed an ounce and the vet gave her a 25% chance to survive. Wendy and I took turns taking days off to feed her for the first 2 weeks of her life. We got up every 4 hours to feed her and then one day it was like a spark. She just caught on and she would crawl over top of all her siblings and get the best ninny. She never quit and that was the way she was in the ring but she was so tiny. She just did not have a chance. So we bred her and got our Franny. Tara still looks like a pup and she is 12 years young. She cannot get on the bed anymore but sleeps in a huge lab bed with her own quilt and pillow, no one is allowed near her bed. She still tears around the yard and self stackes when she sees the birds. And to think somebody once dumped her and said there was nothing to her.
