(Day Trip)
Lairdland Farm House, located in beautiful Giles County, is on the National Register of Historic Places.  John Laird, an Irish Immigrant, was given a 5,000 acre land grant by the state of North Carolina in appreciation for Laird's service in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.  Tennessee was still Indian Territory when Laird settled on Lynn Creek and raised his family.  Lairdland Farm House Civil War Museum is an interesting museum and the farm is fun to visit.  The house was built in 1831.  The tour will include a delicious lunch.
