Stop Bullying Before It Starts!
In order to graduate from our high school, seniors are required to create and carry out a community service project. Among other things, it is required that this project would not have existed without the effort of the students. The underlying concept of the project is the issue of social justice.

For our project, we designed three presentations about bullying. We (there are generally three students per group) wanted to help the students view bullying from a different perspective, namely, the perspective of the bully.

Our presentations consisted of three main events:
1. We gave a presentation to the students that involved key words, situations, and concepts that relate to conflict situations and how to handle them.
2. In groups, we read the students short stories written from the perspective of the bully, as opposed to the victim. The groups of students then presented short skits to their classmates that explained the story that they had listened to and discussed.
3. We asked the students to create a story or situation about bullying involving multiple characters, conflict, and resolution. Then, the students shared their ideas and discussed different ways to handle the conflicts that they had written.
