2. Season Six (Rating: 9)
5. Season Two (Rating: 5)
1. Season Three (Rating: 9)
4. Season Five (Rating: 6)
Season One:
A not so good season. It was interesting to see the expolartion
of the gamma qaudrant and of Bajoran civilization, something that had been forgotten in the later seasons. However most of the episodes were quite awful.
Best Episode:
Duet
Season Two:
A better go of exploration of gamma qaudrant and Bajoran
civilization. And station life is a bit more interesting and so are the main characters, however the episodes are still a bit boring
Best Episode: Whispers
Season Three:
An outstanding season, the best year of Deep Space Nine
not for the episode themselves, but for the whole feel of the series at this point. This is first season for the Defaint and for the Dominion. The interacting between the main characters at this point was at an all time high, I only wished that the whole series would have the same feel as this year did.
Best Episode:
Improbable Cause / The Die is Cast
Season Four:
A great dissapointment after the thrid season. They made
the grave mistake of trying to make the Klingons the main enemies instead of the Dominion, and the Cardassains were becoming more like allies than enemies, and they are suppose to be the main advesary for this series. The adding to Worf to this series was an odvious ploy for more ratings, and I don't think it even worked. Worf never did really fit in on DS9.
Best Episode:
The Quickening
Season Five:
A so-so year. At the start of the season the Klingons were
still the main enemy, with a  full blown war going on between them and the Federation, however later that year they corrected all they're mistakes by Having Cardassia join the Dominion, forcing the Klingons to become allies with the Federation again, where they belong. And Gul Dukat as the main advesary again where he belonged.
Best Episode:
Things Past
Season Six:
An outstanding year. The start of the Dominion War, the first
all out war to take place on a Trek series. Which brought out outstanding episodes, such as my favorite of all time "In the Pale Moonlight". However they did leave behind other aspects to the series, such as the exploration of the gamma qaudrant, and the character interaction wasn't very good.
Best Episode:
In the Pale Moonlight
Season Seven:
The Dominion war continues, however this year seems to
waste time on boring a ridiculous episodes, such as "Take me out to the holosuites" and "Badda-Bing Badda-Bang" instead of foscusing more on the Dominion war, but when they do focus on the war its outstanding, Especially the nine episode ending arc that brought a great end to the series.
Best Episode:
Penumbra / Til Death Do Us Part / Strange Bedfellows /
The Changing Face of Evil / When it Rains... / Tacking Into the Wind / Extreme Measures / The Dogs of War / What You Leave Behind
