Special Note: The Worst Star Trek: The Next Generation Episode
Synopsis: Doctor Crusher falls in love with a very strange man and resigns from Starfleet.
Over All:
A horribly acted, horribly written, boring, and ridiculous
episode.
Pros:
- At least this episode trys to explore the charater of Beverly
Crusher, the most under devolped main character on The Next Generation.
- It was kind of interesting to see a planet that had been terra formed, and the way the envirmental systems work.
Cons:
- I here by accuse Gates McFadden as the worst main charater
actor in all Trek series, and I submit this episode as evidence against her.
- I would like to know who the genuis is that thought a ghost - romance story on Next Generation would be a good idea.
- This also is the cheesey-est Next Generation episode ever. A old scottish man warning Crusher to stay out of the house because it's haunted, A ghost that has been with the Beverly's family for centuries, OH PLEASE!
- About the ghost, I mean energy being, that says he stays with all the Howard women through out the centuries, that's ridiculous. Beverly isn't a Howard, she's a Crusher, and I find it hard to believe that she's the first Howard woman to get marry and change her last name.
- Star Trek always acts like Earth is the center of the universe. In this episode there's an entire planet made to like look as single country on Earth, a small on at that, ridiculous.
