| Synopsis: T'Pol, Archer, and Maywheather go on a secrect mission to apprehend a dangerous Vulcan fugtive. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Over All: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| An interesting and somewhat orginal episode. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Pros: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| - The plot was somewhat interesting, about T'Pol facing her past. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| emotions that she supressed. It was hard to tell whether or not Menos was a smuggling, so the end was not easly to pridict, and that's a pleasent surprize in Star Trek nowadays, since so much as been done already. It could have went either way with Menos. On one hand it was believable that he was lying to T'Pol in order to convince her to let him go, but on the other hand I wouldn't put it past the Vulcans in this time peroid to want to capture him just because he refused to return to Vulcan. - It was very interesting to see Archer, T'Pol and Maywheather go to a strange alien planet, this was one of the more interesting planets they've showed so far on Enterprise. How it rained acid, and the divercity of aliens in the bar. Plus the alien who ran the place, we've seen his species before on Deep Space Nine. - Bruce Davidson as Menos, made this episode alot more interesting. He is a very talented actor, who plays dispictable people very well. He also appeared on Voyager's "Remember". |

| Cons: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| - Why would the Vulcans send T'Pol on this mission to apprend | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Menos? The Vulcans knew that T'Pol had her memories of her past dealing with Meno's partner eraced, they should have known that seeing Menos again would bring back those memories and the emotions surrounding them and make her less effective. - Again we get to use how incompentant an officer Commander Tucker is, in fact this is probably the best example against him. Making my hatred of this charcter justified. As he takes command of the Enterprise during Archer's absence. When Phlox and Reed asks his permission to do something he is too incompentant to decide and just says, "I'll get back to you." And then he pretends to be Captain Archer to a Vulcan captain so the Vulcans wouldn't find out Archer went with T'Pol. What a good second officer, huh? If you ask me Reed should be the second officer, he seems way more compentant than this idoit. |
