| Commander Riker and Counselor Troi had a romatic relationship before they were assigned to the Enterprise, as indicated in the series priemere "Encounter at Farpoint", So throughout the series, we see how they form a deep friendship based off that relationship, and every once in while we see sparks fly between the two of them. Their relationship has always been very believable and very productive to the series has a whole. And now with the TNG movies, Riker and Troi are back in full romatic mode, which so far is working beautifully. |
