- This is the best B'Elanna Torres episode of the series. It really |

shows her as the chief engineer not just another pissed off crew member. And since it's in the second season it's before they're destroyed her character by putting her together with Tom Paris.
_ One of few Voyager episodes that truely explore the delta qaudrant and the different races the live there. It's the kind of exploration of space that made star trek popular.
- The character of Praylor Unit 3947 was done quite nicely. He was diffenitly one of the more interesting people Voyager met in the delta qaudrant. and the relationship between 3947 and B'Elanna was very intriging.
- They actually show some of this supposed adversaral relationship between Paris and Chakotay, metioned in the first episode "The Caretaker", but all but forgotten after that, when Chakotay makes a comment, "I'd hate to lose a good shuttle." on Paris' plan to use a shuttle to distract the Praylor Warship. |
