In Purgatory's Shadow / By Inferno's Light
    In the episode "For the Cause" We see that, being the only two Cardassains on the station Garak and Ziyal decide to spend time together. Which makes sense, but the next thing we know the two of them are in live with each other, as we don't see the two of them together until a year later in "In Purgatory's Shadow". We see a bit more of their romance in "A Call to Arms". Although they never went into detail how close the two of them were they did mention they were in love with each other and we see them kiss several times.
   However I was very disapointed when Garak returns to the station in "Sacrifice of Angles" to discover that Ziyal had been killed, he simply makes some comment that she loved him, and that was all they did on the subject.
    I don't think their relationship was neccesary was kind of just thrown in the series for no reason. The two of them didn't really have chimistry together, she wasn't rea;;y Garak's type. It seems the only reason they got together was because they were the only two Cardassains living on DS9, and that seems a really stupid thing to base a relationship on. Not to mention the fact that Garak more than twice her age.
