Soda or Cigaret refers to soda being commonly drank, yet it is bad for you, and cigarets commonly looked down on because...well... it�s bad for you. Were is the line?
I�m hoping to have time to start, and hopefully finish, this interesting project. On this page I will analyze many different things. I hope to show you the difference between what many are told, and what is factual in our spiritual walks. You may agree, or disagree, yet to disagree intelligently, you would have to back up your point of view. In order to back it up, you must then research or heavily ponder, either way, you form a personal conviction by finding what has backing and what does not. That is my only point, to give you a point. To take what I say and believe it is for a fool. I am not highly educated, nor am I surpassingly wise. It is often the dumbest man who says the dumbest things, that causes a smarter man to ponder greater truth.
I believe that the human mind is not powerful enough to criticize or prove the Bible. The mind, like many other things, is bound to decay and corruption. I do not ask you to elevate your personal thoughts above the Bible, but I do ask you to be... dare I say... �rebellious.� I ask that you allow your young heart to speak for once, as so many churches wish them not to. Too truly find religion as it ought to be, one must be unhindered by the opinions of others, and bound only by the desire for a relationship, free of a third party, with Christ. Too many teens walk into church with the image expected of them, hear what they ought not do, and then go home to do what they want. There are three general groupings of church kids: Those that hear what is said and take it as a personal conviction, with no personal backing. Those who hear what is said and pretend to do it at church, but no where else. And those that hear and just couldn�t care. (I would prefer the first and the last much more than the hypocrite... but that is just my feeling on the matter.)
My hopes for this page are to deal with the most important issues. (Yes, I am over the whole dating thing... Or... am I? Actually, I hope to hit purity harder than ever... but this time based on the knowledge of it�s surpassing beauty when purity is combined with touch.) I hope to discuss smoking right off the bat. Don�t worry though, I am going to get down and dirty. I�m not talking about everything you put in your mouth and light. I will discuss those that go in your lungs, and those that don�t. (Cigars for example.) Alcohol will be very interesting, as well as drugs. Some drugs fall under two catagorize though, intake from the smoking section, and regular mind alterations. Promiscuity and relationships are two different topics, but often very close to being synonymous. Physicality will be somewhat a purity talk, but I�m not talking about your average... �Don�t have sex!� talk. The movies issue will be controversial, and yes I know what most of you will say when I write this section, but I hope to present both sides fairly. Prairie dog or Alligator will be a section on friends, either a defender or a predator of their own species. Different beliefs will not be a religion talk, it is about denominations and divisions. The last three are will be about convictions, evangelism, and finally trusting God. The order of all these planned writing may change, but these are the things I wish to write.
In final warning I wish to say... these may be vexing or inspirational. You may whole heartedly disagree, or you may be shocked at what you come to see. The topics talked about are pillar topics, but I will not be bound to just those. I plan on writing short statements that I find profound or encouraging. Right now I am at a point in life feeling like a church reject. I feel that I can�t minister in my church, nor does it minister to me in any ways that I can see at this point in life. I find it a source of serious frustration, but I hope to turn my internal distress into some form of enlightenment for myself and others. Will you journey with me? Soda or Cigaret?
