Executive Officer Duties
Article VI - Duties of the Executive Officers
The Executive Board must maintain at least three full-time students in good standing with the university as officers of the Rainbow Alliance.

President  (Full-time student in good standing with university)
* Act as the liason between RA and Southeast Missouri State University and as spokesperson for
   the Rainbow Alliance, or shall appoint a suitable person to act as such.          
* Preside at organization meetings and facilitate executive board meetings.
* Meet with the advisor
* Be aware of all money matters.
* Assist all executive officers with their responsibilities.
* Prepare for all meetings and provide motivation for the organization.
* Coordinate campus-wide programs.
* Prepare prior to all interviews concerning the organization.
* Be open and aware of all opinions and input
* Provide appropriate follow-up to organization tasks (Follow Thru)
* Delegate short-range responsibility in carrying out his or her duties.  All appointments made by
   the President to ongoing coordination positions must be approved by a majority vote of those
   present at the meeting.
* Suggest that the position of the President may be split into two positions of co-chairpersons by a
   majority vote of those present on the election day meeting, if needed.
* Coordinate the executive board transition.
* Draft meeting agenda with Secretary.

Vice President (Maybe any member, perferrably a student member)

Attend all general meetings of the Rainbow Alliance
* Preside in the President's absence at meetings and to assume all of the responsibilities of the  
   President if the absence is to be for more than one business meeting.
* Plan and organize publicity for activities and special events
* Maintain a database/folder of programming materials for the organization.
* Facilitate elections and serve as Parliamentarian (abide by Constitution)
* Direct Constitutional updating/revisions
* Recruitment and motivation of membership
* Present semester reports to organization upon the completion of each semester.
* Organize and maintain information regarding possible speakers and other potential
   entertainment/educational events.
* Serve as host/hostess for new members in attendence.
* Perform other duties as directed by the President

Treasurer (Full-time student in good standing with the university)

Attend all general meetings of the Rainbow Alliance
* Maintain the financial records of RA and making reports at least once a month or upon demand.
* Make and manage all financial transactions.
* File all necessary reports concerning finances.
* Draft funding requests for RA events through Student Government and through What's On
   Weekend (WOW) Program
* Present funding request to Student Government via Funding Board meetings.
* Prepare organizations budget
* Maintain financial history of RA
* Maintain an inventory of all Rainbow Alliance equipment and materials
* Coordinate solicitations and fundraising activities for the organization.
* Maintain and apply for grant money.
* Perform other duties as directed by the President  

Secretary/WebCoordinator (Maybe any member, perferrably a student member)
*
Attend all general meetings of the Rainbow Alliance.
* Keep the minutes of each meeting, record the number of persons present, and preserve the
   records of the organization.
* To oversee the operation of any RA library operation.
* Maintain and update Rainbow Alliance's website (generally or upon request)

Maintain a database/folder of the Rainbow Alliance members information, which is to be kept
   confidential.  This information must include email address, mailing address, phone numbers for the
   current semester.
* Help prepare each meetings agenda with the president.
* Send all minutes to appropriate members via the directory system created.
* Reserve meeting rooms for the semester and year.
* Reserve rooms/locations for campus-wide events throughout the semester and year.
* Create a scrapbook (publications, pictures, etc.) for the year and present to the organization upon
   completion of each semester.
* Serve as the organization's recognition coordinator (Ex. special thank-yous, banquets, certificates)
* Contact members about upcoming events/meeting schedules.
* Keep the organization informed.
* Perform other duties as directed by the President.

Ally Outreach Coordinator (Maybe any member, perferrably an ally member)
* Serve as liason member between ally members and the executive board.
* Make suggestions for improvements of the RA regarding its allies.
* Coordinate Safe-Space Program.
* Recruit and maintain ally members.
* Redirect the executive board to the opinions/input of the RA's allies.
* Perform other duties as directed by the President.

Community Outreach Coordinator (Perferrably a non-student member)
* Serve as liason member between community members and the executive board.
* Make suggestions for improvements of the RA regarding its community members.
* Coordinate Safe-Space Program with Ally Outreach Coordinator.
* Recruit and maintain community members.
* Redirect the executive board to the opinions/input of the RA's community members.
* Perform other duties as directed by the President.
