Candlelight Vigil
Kala Stroup Fountain, Kent Library at 8 PM

Join the Rainbow Alliance as we pay our respects to those silenced by hatred during our Candlelight vigil.
Vow Of Silence
From 8 AM to 5 PM observe the National Day of Silence by remaining silent.  Our deliberate silence on this day echoes that silence, which is caused by harassment, prejudice, and discrimination. Participants believe that ending the silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices
What is the Day of Silence?
The National Day of Silence is a national youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. Our deliberate silence on this day echoes that silence, which is caused by harassment, prejudice, and discrimination. Participants believe that ending the silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices.
