| Stevie was Suzanne's "cousin-in-law". He was shot and killed on December 16, 2000. There was never a time that Suzanne would go through Ventura, CA without stopping by Stevie's Place at the cemetery. Christmas time, 2004, at a get-together at Suzanne's home, she sang "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan and dedicated it to Stevie. She cried so much that she had to stop singing and asked her friend, Misty, to finish the song. In September of 2005, at the "Celebration of Suzanne's Life", Misty sang the song again...for both Stevie and Suzanne. There is a website in memory of Stevie.
