| The blonde is actually a bearded cross-dresser. The camera alternates between the blonde and each of the guys ( and the truck driver, somehow ) in shock and awe :). Everyone piles back into the truck and drive off, leaving the cross-dresser alone, who shrugs with the caption " Win some, lose some " as the screen fades and the credits roll. |
| Review This was the first experience I've had with one of Kenneth's solo efforts at creativity; we've worked together on Movie Maker, but this was entirely his work. I must say that I'm impressed. First off, the fact that the film was entirely dialogue-free ( it had to be silent for the assignment ) and still managed to be coherent and enjoyable was impressive. I have actually seen two versions of this, the first with licensed music, and the second ( this review copy ) with an original score. Either version works well; when the only sound is music, it better be able to fit the action onscreen, and it does in both cases. The characters were interesting, and seemed to be somewhat homages as well: 1. Charley - definitely reminded me of Stewart, the main character in Blood Brothers, the first movie Kenneth and I made together. 2. Steve - for some reason, I think of Estrada, another Blood Brothers title character. 3. Mikey - Mike Myers from Halloween, anyone? Overall, a very enjoyable movie, and I definitely look forward to seeing more entries from K.W. Sutton. |
